Nice easy kayak trip with knowledgeable guide. Occasionally the guides audio would cut out, but that was a bonus feature that was extremely helpful to hear the guide Julie. Julie was a 10 out of 10-she is very passionate about the environment and wildlife.

The trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide, Julia, was very knowledgeable and made the 2 hours go by quick sharing details about the mangroves and all of the wildlife we saw. It was a perfect day on the water!

Such a great experience. Julie is a steward of the mangroves and their in inhabitants. She helped us see a manatee mom and baby, dolphins, conches, bald eagles and so much more. This 75 year old was enchanted.

Thank you for your review and the feedback on the audio system even being the top of line has its technical difficulties so we appreciate your feedback on it. We have been able to remedy it with a different headset for the guide. So glad the guide gave you a great experience!

Expect to get your butt a little wet. Wear flop flops or water shoes. Julia was a great guide, very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about the ecosystem! Sadly we didn't see any manatee but kinda knew we would be lucky if we did. Would recommend for the price and took about 2 hours. There is free parking at the launch site.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you for your feedback and the advice on what to expect kayaking definitely will get you wet and we’re glad you shared that feedback. We are glad you Julie was able to give you a great tour and of course we always do our best to find wildlife but with wild animals there is no way to predict them. We are glad you understand.

We had a fantastic kayaking tour with Albie who was very knowledgeable about the environment.
The kayaking was at a good pace for us
Response from Host, Jan 2026
So glad you had a great time with Albie on the water!

Our guide was late to arrive, which meant nothing was set up. She did keep us longer at the end to make up for the very late start. She was knowledgeable but hard to hear if you were not one of the first two kayaks by her.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Please accept our deepest apologies that we didn’t meet your expectations. We do our best to be there early and have everything set up before you arrive so we can have time to move the 6 kayaks needed for your trip, although sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise. According to our paddle logger we did get on the water about 10 minutes behind which is not acceptable. We apologize and hope to get to see you back on the water so we can exceed the expectations we have set for ourselves and that you had for us. We will reach out to you personally and see what we can do to make this right.

Julie is great! She is super knowledgeable about all things flora and fauna for the region; we learned so much. She also gave great recommendations for where to stop for lunch and baked goods in the nearby Greek village. The paddling was very doable for any age (preteen and older).

Julie was an excellent eco tour guide! Thanks to Julie’s local fauna knowledge, we were able to enjoy being amongst friendly dolphins, flamingos, sandpipers, egrets and even tiny night bats. Also, a great shelling experience, but recommend you wear water shoes.

The tour was a great introduction to the ecosystem and a fun activity for all. Our group included individuals from 10 to 70+. The paddling was easy for all. We saw dolphins, rays, jumping schools of fish, oyster beds and a variety of bird life. Julie was great! Highly recommended for all.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
We loved having the group on the water and so happy that everyone had a great time!
Kenneth_L, Mar 2025
Don’t expect to see a lot of wildlife. We saw one dolphin and one mullet. It was educational learning about the type of wildlife that use the mangroves as their nursery. And it was an easy paddle, no current, no waves, lots of sun. Unfortunately, my kayak had a faulty seat support so I had a difficult time for the 2 1/2 hours without adequate support for my back. The guide noticed about a half hour before the end of the trip and provided me with a couple foam inserts to help my low back.
Response from Host, Mar 2025
Ah sorry about that, we do regularly maintaint the kayaks but occassionally things happen throughout the day that we miss. Obviously we cannot control the wildlife however.
Dave_M, Sep 2024

The weather was cooperative, and Julie our guide was knowledgeable and excellent with managing our small group of 6 (ourselves and 2 other couples). The parking area was great as was the private launch area. We saw the sponge docks on the water away from the tourist crowds as well as abundant aquatic life. The mangrove areas were quiet and the power boats at a minimum as this was a Tuesday morning excursion. Learning was also achieved as a result of the experience of our guide Julie.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Thanks for the review, really glad you had a great time with us.
