The trip didn’t go ahead as they didn’t pick us up from the hotel!! Wouldn’t transfer us to another trip either
We had a great time on the excursion, everyone was so nice and professional. Definitely would recommend!
Fun adventure covering land and sea. Great lunch of some local favorites at outdoor facility. Crew were very friendly and entertaining.

Thank you, Richard, for taking the time to give us feedback. We are glad that you had an enjoyable time.
It’s nice that they offer pickup at the north island resorts, but the traffic is so unbelievable that it added two hours total to our day just commuting to and from Rodney bay. The tour encompasses everything promised but it felt a bit rushed and we were taken to a beach with no reef for snorkeling with involved just looking at sand. I wish I had booked with a small group boat on the beach of our resort rather than ahead of time through Viator. The catamaran probably had close to 100 people.
The pickup from the cruise port was confusing but overall we enjoyed the excursion. The info we received said we would meet up with guide on the pier and to look for tour operator, Barefoot Adventures. We found someone from Barefoot Adventures but she was running a different tour people had booked through Princess cruises (our cruise ship). She was very helpful though in directing us to a gazebo within the courtyard of the port duty free shops where we eventually gathered with passengers on several different excursions being run by operator Carnival - not Barefoot. Seems Barefoot must have subcontracted. No one from Carnival asked to see our tickets and I don’t think they verified our names either. From the cruise port, they put us on a two-minute van ride to the place where we boarded the catamaran. Some of the people who were with us stayed behind because they were on a different tour that was on land. Once we were on the catamaran there was no more confusion and the crew did a good job of explaining where we were going and pointed out sites along the west side of the island as we went down to Soufriere. The catamaran seemed to have maybe 50 to 100 passengers. In Soufriere we were herded onto multiple vans to visit sulfur springs mud bath / volcano. The crew/guides did a good job of keeping all of the groups organized to their respective vans. Our guide, Tonya, was excellent and very knowledgeable! We opted to do the volcano history with a guide at the site over the mud bath since we had done that on a different island. We really enjoyed the presentation on the caldera. We then made a stop at the waterfall and Tonya managed to get each participant a photo in the waterfall before we returned to the catamaran for a buffet lunch. About halfway back we anchored and some people snorkeled while others just used the beach and swam for 30-45 minutes. On the sail back people continued to enjoy rum punch, and beer and dancing to the music. There was definitely a younger vibe, though there were some older and middle-aged people. If you do not like a party atmosphere this part may be a turn off. The catamaran dropped off the cruise ship passengers right at the pier within walking distance of the ship before heading to wherever the hotel passengers get dropped off.
Our group has a absolutely amazing time 8 hours of complete fun adventure and amazing vibes, I would recommend to many
Boat excursion is the way to go! The water and land combination. We made it a full day boat, snorkling, mud bath, and waterfall. Lunch was pretty good too!
The party on the way back to our port was awesome. We had a family group of 11. The rum punch hit the spot!
Fantastic day from start to finish. Spending Christmas Day on the catamaran was the perfect choice. The crew were amazing—friendly, helpful, and informative—and the drinks flowed all day. The sulphur springs are a must-see, and the waterfall was absolutely out of this world.
Highly recommended, and I would definitely do it again.
It rained almost our entire trip but we still had an awesome time. The waterfall was a bit underwhelming but still neat to see! The lunch was delicious. The drinks were unlimited the entire time on the boat, nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Overall my husband and o enjoyed our excursion, the crew was really nice as well
Be prepared for a fun day. Very well organized, excellent team on board, great music with spirited dancers making a difference to do it again.

Thank you so much for sharing this! We’re really happy to hear you had such a fun day on the catamaran.
I bought this tour because it included a visit Diamond Botanical Gardens as stated: "With your guide, make your way to Diamond Botanical Gardens, located on a verdant plantation estate. Follow your guide down easy walking trails featuring beautiful examples of local flora and fauna". It was misleading and the tour was sold on a false promise of activity they were not going to provide. Two other activities I already visited a couple days ago with a different provider. Very disappointed they you are selling something you cannot deliver.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that this experience didn’t align with your expectations.
The tour includes a tropical waterfall stop, however the specific location can vary depending on timing and routing on the day. We recognize that this flexibility was not clearly reflected in the description at the time of booking.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are updating the listing to better reflect what guests can expect going forward.
Barefoot holidays is the most unprofessional tour company in all of St. Lucia. They confirmed a 81:15 pick up time at the resort. I was in the lobby by 8 and the driver never came. I was contacting the tour operator several times to confirm I did not hear back. I had to reach out to Viator which finally gave me the number to call barefoot. And when I spoke with them, they told me that the driver came at 8, but didn’t see me so he left. pick up time was 8:15. Why are you showing up at 8 and then leaving? Not only that I was in the lobby at 8, but the driver didn’t even come in to check. Literally the worst tour company you can find in St. Lucia. So unprofessional and so unresponsive. Do not waste your time there are more professional companies and tours you can go on

Dear Michelle, we are truly sorry to read about your disappointing experience and completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after looking forward to your Catamaran Sail. While Barefoot Holidays serves as the local coordinator for this excursion, the transfers and sailing experience are operated by one of our trusted partner suppliers. According to their report, the driver arrived at the resort before the scheduled 8:15 a.m. pickup time and did not see any guests in the designated area. However, we fully recognize there may have been a miscommunication on both sides, and we sincerely regret that this led to you missing the tour. As soon as we became aware of the situation on Saturday, we processed a full refund for your booking — no questions asked — as we never want a guest to feel dissatisfied or unheard.
Please know that we’ve since followed up with our supplier partners to ensure clearer communication at all pickup points going forward. We value every guest’s time and experience, and feedback like yours helps us strengthen those processes. We hope you’ll consider visiting Saint Lucia again and allowing us the chance to deliver the exceptional service we’re known for.
GREAT experience! The staff members are fun and professional. The catamaran is perfect for those who want to see the sights and feel the wind and water, it also had shade areas that we appreciated. The views are stunning and the waterfall and mud bath was fun! Highly recommend.

The tour was very well organized and fun. We had good amount of time at each of the spots. They even pointed out pilot whales to everyone. The whole family had a good time

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such great feedback. So happy everyone was able to have an amazing time. We hope to welcome you back!
Excellent excursion. Bring extra sunscreen…you will need it. Also bring a hat. Catamaran from north hotels to stops is about 1.5 hrs
Great experience and way to spend a day, highly recommend from start to finish. Staff are great especially Courtney!
Beautiful day, lunch was great and land tours were well organized. The only downside was when snorkeling they brought us to an area filled with Jellyfish. Many were stung, the operators said that it has been this way for a few days! Should have brought us to a different location!
We did the all day tour in at Lucia. With pitons tour, mud baths and catamaran/snorkeling. We were on a cruise ship and there for only one day. This was such a perfect way to get all st Lucia has to offer in a short time. The communication before the trip was great. The price is more than fair and worth every dollar. The crew on the island and catamaran was helpful, fun, knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch served on the boat was fresh, local and so yummy! What a beautiful day and tour. We can’t wait to go back next year. I would highly recommend using Viator as my tour company as an alternative to ship excursions.

Dear Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to leave such a great review. We greatly appreciate it and hope to serve you again soon!
My friend and I had an amazing experience with this tour company! Our crew was very attentive and lively. We did not feel rushed at any of the stops and the excursion actually lasted longer than the suggested time. I would book with them again if I were to visit St Lucia.
Great experience with plentiful drinks, excellent crew, and good music and vibes! My husband and I booked this excursions for my birthday. We boarded later so there was no more covered seating, but as soon as the catamaran started sailing, the cool breeze made our location on one of the nets (trampolines) a perfect spot.
We opted for the waterfalls and volcanic mud bath once in Soufriere. I didn’t snorkel, but my husband enjoyed it thoroughly. Our stop was very scenic. I enjoyed the line dancing as we headed back to the pier. Don’t forget to bring towels, sunscreen, water shoes, water bottles, and hats/visors.
The lunch was absolutely delicious! Can’t say enough about the top notch staff!
This was a great day out - lovely staff and a really nice lunch provided - plenty of drinks and fun! Richard who took our bus to the mud baths etc, was a lovely man!
The snorkelling element was a bit disappointing - too many people in a small space when the 2nd catamaran arrived soon after us. But it was a great day and we will absolutely recommend! Thank you!
The excursion itself was great! The staff was wonderful. But the picture and title of the excursion says Catamaran and the boat we were on was much larger, like a ferry. Also, when we booked it said an 8:10 pickup time. They called us in the hotel room the day before and told us we needed to walk to the security gate at the front of the resort at 7:20. Kind of a bummer that the time was changed and made earlier. Kept us from being able to get breakfast. Also, if you are staying past Castries, we were at Sandals La Toc, it’s at-least an hour on the bus to the marina and you stop to pick up everyone else at their hotel so we were on the bus for close to 2 hours.
Lovely boat trip with a really fun crew. Enjoyed the waterfall and volcanic history tour. The food was good.

Thank you Alicia for taking the time to leave feedback. We appreciate you.
The tour was as very long and the boat isn’t hugely comfortable. There was a lot of waiting around for different elements of the tour; including 40 minutes at the start of the day for pick up - and because lots of other groups are there at the same time it was very crowded at the waterfall and mud baths. I’d probably do that separately and just book a boat only tour if I was advising a friend. The staff were friendly and attentive and the lunch was lovely.

Captain and his crew were great very informative as we traveled down the coast line.
Lunch was very nice.

Thank you, Steve for such a great review.
I would not recommend this tour with aviator and Barefoot Holidays to my enemy let alone a friend! There was conflicting information about the pick up location for the tour, we ended up in the wrong place on the wrong tour and had to pay for that tour after having already paid for the one through victor. When I reached out to ask about a refund since we never made it to the tour at all I was told it was my fault I was in the wrong place and because they sent a driver for us I would not get my money back. This is after someone was supposed to confirm the pick up location and after I sent a message the day before and morning of the tour to confirm the location and no one bothered to respond or get back to me. I will be contacting a lawyer, the BBB and going to the media about this!

Dear Ruby Jones,
Greetings from Barefoot Holidays!!
This is a very unfortunate situation as we strive daily to ensure that our guests experiences are memorable once they have booked a service with us.
Based on our records it indicates that the Catamaran pick up was confirmed with you for a 8:10am pick up from the Hotel Lobby at the Royalton Resort to which you acknowledged receipt and confirmed.
On the morning of the scheduled tour we received a call from the supplier indicating that you were not at the designated pickup location. Our team tried reaching you several times that morning there was no response from you.
We then heard from you on the afternoon where you indicated that you were picked up at the beach. (Note that the original confirmation from Barefoot Holidays was the hotel main lobby and not the beach)
In light of this we have taken a decision to process a full refund via the Viator platform.
Wishing you all the best.
Great experience. Picked up from hotel in the morning, taken to the marina for south trip along the coast. Plenty of seating on the catamaran; drinks and water available from the moment you board. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views of the Pitons, waterfall visit, mud bath, buffet lunch, and then free swim at secluded beach. Extra points for how helpful Mich was in telling us about the island and its people. Highly recommend

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an excellent rating and share your experience with us. We appreciate your business. We hope to serve you again soon!
So much fun. Great crew. Fun, energetic. Only negative is the beach and snorkeling...hated having the boats obsone the catamaran
This excursion far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we got picked up at the hotel and throughout all the stops, everything was smooth and pleasant. There was food available at all times from the minute we arrived at the catamaran with a light breakfast for anyone who did not eat, the lunch was absolutely delicious and plentiful and the drinks were very good and not watery at all. The staff was absolutely incredible, they took pictures for us, gave us very good recommendations and made sure we were safe at all times. We were able to see the Pitons very close, the sulfur bath was quite an experience, the waterfall was very quick but nice, and the snorkeling was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this excursion as it is well worth the money.
This tour was fantastic and fun, but the pick up was a hassle. CON: we were told to stand in a particular spot and our driver missed us completely. He was also late and had to circle back for us. Which was frustrating as we had arrived 15minutes early and were standing in the pick up spot for a very long time in the hot, unforgiving Lucian sun. That part was not our fault.
However, that was only a small wrinkle in what became a fantastic day. If you can just go straight to the Rodney Bay Marina, where the meet up/docking point is anyway, you should do that instead.
PRO’s: everything once we got on the boat. The boat experience felt like one long dance party and it was pretty awesome to meet and mingle with people from all over the world. The tour through Sufriere was also good—you get an option to go to the mud baths or the historic tour of the drive in volcano. Lunch was provided, but I would also bring your own water bottle just to keep throughout the day.
ABSOLUTELY bring plenty of sunscreen, regardless of your melanin levels. And sunglasses. You know, the little things you might mistakenly forget but become big things later. Would recommend this tour.
