Delvin was great. The rum tour and food were both great. We also enjoyed stopping at the farm to try many of the local fruits. Delvin also explained the history and culture of the island while we were driving between the various stops on the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Delvin our guide was amazing!! He was very kind and easy going, knowledgeable of the island and ensured everyone was comfortable during the tour. The lunch provided at his mom’s house was a highlight of our trip and one of our best meals on the island! We got to try a diverse palate of Lucian food, all of which was delicious! The cost is defiantly worth it for the full day experience! Highly recommend our guide and this tour if you’re wanting an authentic experience! 10/10!!

Best tour of the holiday by far. Don't let the price hold you back: it is totally worth it. Chris picked us up at 8am to drive for over an hour to the first stop up north, then we gradually made our way back south to our resort. On the way up north Chris explained a lot about the island, its history and the culture. Every stop was great: local breakfast was at a place tourists can't find (and it was super tasty), the rum distillery tour and tasting was awesome. Chris was very patient when we tasted up to 20 rums before deciding which one to buy. Think that was it? Oh no, then it was off to an infused rum tasting, done by locals. Just a stand next to the road, rum in what seemed like plastic bottles. Sounds bad? He'll no, the flavors were awesome. The people super friendly and very keen in telling you all about their products. Rum infused with fruits you've never heard of, a variety of nuts, plants, but especially: coffee and cocoa. Oh boy this was good. "Take your time, ready when you are: Chris said patiently. Did I mention already he's also a very skilled driver? Also, as I am a beer enthusiast, I asked if it was possible to include the local brewery. Now this was a quest even for him but the man got it figured out after making some phone calls throughout the day and eventually we got the directions. After the lunch stop at a house of a local (we literally just sat in their garden, not a restaurant or anything, just at people's home) where we had a wonderful meal (and we were stuffed) it was straight over to Tony's farm. Tony is a farmer, possibly in his late 60s I'd say, but he showed his skills. Immediately after us arriving he started whacking a coconut with his machete which we could then drink out of and after that eat the gelly (at first glance I was like 'really?' but it tastes good, trust me). Then the comparison with a dried one. Very interesting! Then all kinds of local fruit and to top it off a crash course in how to roast cashew nuts (apparently without roasting the oil in the nuts is toxic!) harvested fresh from the plant. Finally our last stop was the one we asked for specifically so they added this especially for us: the craft brewery, exceptionally well hidden in the hills (even Chris had to inquire and that says something) where we could try 3 of their craft beers and had a great chat with Martin and one of the brewers (slapping myself for not remembering the guys name). This was our final stop. We had a blast. Chris was the perfect guide: friendly, knowledgeable, patient and funny. If you love to try new things and local food this tour is absolutely worth it. Fantastic.

A great tour if you are interested in learning more about the island culture and its food history. Take you beyond the typical tourist sites where you taste the local foods, homemade rums, roast cashews and drink coconut water from coconuts straight from the trees!

We did the food and rum tour with Delvin and cannot recommend it highly enough!! He is a font of knowledge about St Lucia’s history, culture, and of course, food scene. It was a nice blend of conversation while also having time to enjoy some experiences alone. The St. Lucian breakfast was delicious with an amazing view; the rum distillery tour was awesome; tasting fresh tropical fruits at Tony’s farm was lovely, and it was amazing to enjoy a home-cooked lunch at his mom’s house—such a personal way to get a peek into the wonderful island culture of St. Lucia! Be careful with the final rum tasting at Horizon, because while delicious, those samples pack a punch! (But that didn’t stop us from bringing 3 unique bottles home!) 😁

Great tour, a definite must for anyone wanting to try authentic stuff lucian food!! Delvin was a great host/guide and even stopped to get my cousin a red bull. We had breakfast (bakes) + 2 rum stops + sauce tasting (try banana ketchup) + fruit tasting at Tony's farm (cocoa, sugarcane, soursop, mangos & more) + lunch (so good I had 2 servings)

Devlin is very personable and was a great host for us throughout the day as we sampled local cuisine and culture. The lunch at his mom's house was probably the best we had the whole vacation! Definitely recommend if you are looking to do something off the beaten path!

Chris was a great guide and we would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island. There were many stops and it was hard to pick a top three when asked. We started with an authentic breakfast. Then we had a tour and tasting at the distillery. We then stopped at a little stand to try the island sauces and get some souvenirs. The infused rum tasting was awesome and there are too many flavors to try, I wish we could have tried them all. The highlight for us was the lunch. Delvin's Mom prepared a meal so fantastic and it was hands down the best meal we had while in St Lucia. We also got to see Tony's farm and try fresh fruits and see the cashew roasting process. They really packed a lot into one day and wifey needed a nap after this tour. Don't miss out and make sure you book this if you're visiting the island.

It may look pricey, but don't sleep on this trip. You get picked up from your resort in a comfortable air conditioned van and transported around St. Lucia to several locations to sample food and rum. If you want an authentic St. Lucian experience away from the resort, book this trip

One of our favorite food tours ever. Chris was our guide, and he was very kind, thoughtful, and informative. Note that the tour might be slightly different depending on if you're being picked up in the north vs in the south. Overall a great experience!

This was a fantastic day that provided a true picture of St. Lucia culture. Our tour guide Delvin was a wealth of knowledge & took us through many stops filled with so many delicious tastes! From our traditional breakfast, to the rum distillery, lunch on Delvin’s Mom’s gorgeous terrace, fresh fruits & roasted cashews at Tony’s farm and the last stop to taste locally infused rums. So many little touches made this tour 1 in a million! Delvin was fantastic and the people he introduced us to were as well. If you book this trip, bring cash to tip at each place you stop- you will want to because they all deserve it & remember to tip your tour guide! Would recommend this to everyone!!!

This tour gives a real taste and feel for the food and culture of St.Lucia. Delvin was a wonderful guide and genuinely proud to share his love of St . Lucia . The breakfast and lunch were outstanding . Also the tropical fruits that were shared and watching cashews being roasted was an experience.

If you want to have a more authentic view of St Lucia food and culture, I highly recommend this tour. Delvin was gracious, patient and informative. The tour was a great way to spend a day outside of the resort and give us a snap shot of the country side. The distillery tour was excellent. Food was delicious and every questioned answered!

Chris, our guide, was way more than we could have hoped for! The insight, the knowledge, the laughs! What a great way to get to see the Island! From local breakfast, to village sites, to a historical rum family distilery, finally to Tony's secluded jungle farm! (our favorite stop).
Come hungry!
Chris never rushed us to the next leg of the tour. We got to mingle and explore as much as we wanted.
His vehicle was well maintained, airconditioned, and he had bottled water and Piton beer on hand.
Final note: Don't forget to bring cash to tip! These locals open up there extablishments and depend on the gracious "donations" to support their businesses and families.

Gives you the opportunity to see the island and experience the culture and food guided by a native. A really unique day of tasting unusual foods and tasting the local rum. Most visitors would never be able to do this on their own.

Chris was a wonderful guide and gave us great insight into the island. He navigated us to some very interesting sights. First stop was an amazing breakfast at a local bar. We have some picky eaters in our group that didn't expect to enjoy this nearly as much as we all did! Coca tea was amazing as was the salted Cod. Second stop was a rum distillery tour with tasting - made some purchases to take home. Peanut butter cream rum - DELICIOUS. Third stop was a local spice/hot sauce tasting. Host was so sweet and funny. Again, made a couple purchases. Third stop was lunch on the back garden of a local home. Again, amazing food that was enjoyed by our entire group. Forth stop was rum tasting - this was fun and interactive. Final stop was Tony's farm, where we sat together and enjoyed several local fruits and then Tony roasted us fresh cashews. Another amazing experience. (use the bud spray at the farm!). One of the best excursions we have been on in the Caribbean. Highly recommend this intimate tour for anyone. If you don't like tours with large groups and being rushed around - this is the tour for you.

If I could give it more stars, I would! I travel a lot. I always find a good tour. This was the most unique, delicious and interesting food tour I have ever been on. You really get a sense of what it’s like to live here and eat like a local. It’s an experience most tourists don’t get to enjoy unless you book this tour, with this company. Delvin was amazing as our driver and guide. He shared so many interesting facts. I almost cancelled because the day before I had taken a tour to the mud baths, etc. and picked up in Rodney Bay. By the time I got back, my head was spinning from the drive - Really, for about 20 minutes. Delvin assured me he would drive slowly around the curves, and he did. I felt fine the entire drive! Highly, highly recommend!!

It was a fabulous, & unique, experience. Chris was a wonderful host & driver. We had a true St. Lucian breakfast, then went on a tour of a large rum distillery, followed by a stop at a flavored rum shop with a beautiful ocean view. Then we went to Tony's farm where we sampled fresh locals fruits- all delicious. The last stop was a home cooked St. Lucian lunch, served at a personal home, eaten on the porch overlooking the ocean. Again, it was a delicious meal! We would recommend this excursion to everyone!

We took a great excursion today with Delvin. Had a traditional breakfast. Rum distillery tour. Stopped for a tasting of local spices and condiments. (Including Banana ketchup). He took us to his Moms house for lunch. We had some amazing local cuisine. Next stop, Tony’s Place. Crossed the river by foot. We sampled (all fresh) coconut water, golden apple, pineapple, sugar cane, cocoa beans and fresh roasted cashews.

A unique and authentic food experience in St. Lucia. It is like no other tour you will ever do. You experience St. Lucia like a local for a one of a kind day. Chris took us all over the island for a fun adventurous day. Highlight was going to Tony's farm and tasting fresh fruits from the farm as well as tasting the most delicious cashews we have ever had. They roast them over an open flame and crack them for you. You end up eating a delicious carribean dish at a personal home overlooking the ocean. If you have a sense of adventure and you love to try new foods and experiences, this is the perfect tour for you. We loved it!

We can’t speak highly enough about this experience! It was the perfect way to see the island whilst tasting so much unbelievable food and drink you wouldn’t get to try otherwise.
Delvin was so knowledgeable and passionate about the island which really elevated the experience.
Whilst pricier than some other trips, we can wholeheartedly understand why and were impressed with the excellent value for money and quality of experience versus ‘similar’ experiences that can be booked via your hotel or travel agent.
Each and every one of the food/drink stops were special and unique and taught us something new about the wonderful island of St Lucia.
