What a wonderful experience! You get to help set up and break down the balloon ( It's work, but how many can say they did this?) The experience in the air is peaceful and so beautiful! It's well worth the small investment and champagne 🍾 (or mimosas) and muffins are more than a just reward! The staff is great and are such a solid team!

Great views with a great pilot, weather was awesome, even seen Mt Cook, travelled at 6,000 feet, and cruised across farm land.

What a wonderful day. Graham and his team were very professional and informative which added to the experience. Definitely would recommend this. It was lovely to be involved with the hands on aspect of the experience which made us feel part of a great team.

Weather Didn’t Cooperate, Service Was Excellent

We were planning to do the hot air balloon trip on 30th December, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and we had to cancel. We tried again the next day, but the weather was still not on our side. So we had to cancel the tour. However, the cancellation and rescheduling process was seamless and easy. They let us know a day in advance, which helped us heaps with planning our time. We will definitely go again.

Dress nice and warm . It was nice to have a 6am start, to see the sunrise. The staff were top notch 👌 It was a wonderful surprise for my wife and daughter as a birthday shout.

You travel 30 minutes to your take off area. Then when you get there you have to walk throw a field full of cow dung. The operators of the business then expect the kindness of people to set up the whole balloon operation. It takes an hour to set this up all while walking and carrying things that are lying on the cow dung. The flight itself is wonderful. Then when landing it takes another hour to pack the balloon all away. All while carrying the deflated balloon lying in cow dung. Not once is a wet wipe or cloth offered to clients. We found our arms and legs having dung on them. We then have a 30 min trip back. So the whole flight is about an hour. For the price you pay We really don't expect to be helping to set up and break down the equipment.

Amazing experience! A bit of waiting around beforehand and after as balloon is assembled and packed up. Nerve-racking and thrilling! Would recommend wearing a cap as the flame is really hot above your head.
