We’ve been traveling through the UK for 5 weeks and have done multiple walking tours and this was by far the best. The history of Canterbury was presented in such a way as to be interesting and memorable. Highly recommend.
Extremely interesting. Guide, Bob really great at relating facts and dates. Funny too. Really enjoyed tour.

It is very informative, and you do not walk far., just round the block. Do not go on the walls or much further than in front of Cathedral.

Very knowledgeable guide, good level of detail for a first visit to Canterbury. Margaret is excellent! Would recommend doing a separate inner visit to the Cathedral since the tour only includes the grounds.

My sister and I attended the Viator guided tour of this historic city. Kirsten, our guide, made the history of Canterbury come alive with her knowledge of events - some of them quite quirky but always interesting - explaining time, place and people in ways that one would remember. The ancient and modern history of the cathedral were focussed on as well as past social and cultural events in the city. Unusually, language associations were explained which were satisfying.
We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

It was such a great tour! An amazing time in Canterbury and our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate. His poetry reading skills were unmatched! I think other people in my group enjoyed this way more than I did. I found reading about Canterbury on Wikipedia far more interesting than this tour itself. I have come to expect over the years that the guides on tours I have booked via Viator tend to ask everyone their names, where they are from, I tegtate thst into their tour, add a little humor. This seemed like a dry history lesson on boring subjects in the cold.

I was really surprised to get such a great tour for such a pleasant price. It's definately worth it 200%. I got to know a lot of new information and really enjoyed the stories and the way Will was presenting them! Wonderful experience. Alex was out your guide and he was very knowledgeable. Your was supposed to be 90 minutes and we got an extra ten minutes of information. We took the tour of Canterbury Cathedral afterward and that tour guide don’t know as much as Alex did. I would recommend.
