Excellent tour! Our tour guide Lucy treated us like friends she was showing around Buenos Aries! The foods we tried were delicious especially the chocolate. I highly recommend this tour and hopefully you’ll get Lucy as your guide.

Amelia our guide for the food tour was fabulous. While she offered us delicious and intriguing food choices, she also shared with us the history and local cultures. It was a wonderful tour. Amelia was very accommodating and informative. A great food tour and I highly recommend. You won’t go hungry or short on local knowledge!

Martin was excellent! He is an intelligent and engaging young man who grew up in the neighborhood where he hosted the tour. We learned much about the culture and the history of the foods we tasted. His communication regarding the meeting/ start location was excellent. Our group was a wonderful size--2 couples! We learned the history and cultural practices regarding local foods and drinks. He was attentive to all and offered good answers to all the questions we had. He paced the tour well. My group was English speaking and Martin has a very good command of the language. He included commentary on other than food as well. We learned some history too. This only enhanced the tour for us. I highly recommend this tour!

we love this food tour. Martin and Florencia met us in the most interesting neighborhood Palermo, Soho. we enjoyed many unique tastings and learned the history about each one. We also learned a lot about the culture and history of Buenos Aires and enjoyed walking the colorful streets viewing interesting shops, landmarks, and murals. The two guides couldn’t have been more professional, educational, entertaining and accommodating.

Our local food tour with Martin was one of the highlights of our time in Buenos Aires. From the very first stop, the experience was both delicious and immersive. We started with an elevated choripán that set the tone for the entire tour — simple street food taken to the next level.
Next, Martin showed us how to properly prepare and enjoy an authentic mate, sharing the traditions and cultural importance behind it. It was paired with a homemade alfajor that was absolutely out of this world — easily one of the best we’ve ever had.
From there we headed to a classic local pizza shop to try a favorite Buenos Aires–style pizza, before continuing on for a warm churro filled with dulce de leche, which was the perfect sweet treat.
To finish the tour, we enjoyed a delicious beef empanada followed by a perfectly cooked Argentine steak, a fitting finale that showcased the country’s famous beef.
Beyond the incredible food, Martin truly brought Argentine culture to life through his explanations, stories, and passion for the local traditions. He made every stop feel meaningful and gave us a deeper appreciation for the city through its cuisine.
The group was also fantastic — full of fellow travelers sharing stories, laughs, and life experiences along the way. It felt less like a tour and more like a group of friends exploring the city together.
If you want a fun, authentic, and incredibly tasty way to experience Buenos Aires, this tour with Martin is an absolute must.

This was was a fun & delicious food tour. We sampled a variety of Argentine foods. A few surprises, such as a pizza with white sauce, chocolate covered Alfajores, and chorizo steak ( which we thought was sausage.) The fried beef empanadas were the best I had in Argentina and elsewhere. Sadly, we did not think to add drinks to our tour when we booked it. Wish the description on the website would have been better. We did pay for wine & beer along the way, which were tasty.
Most of us arrived 15+minutes before the start time, as indicated on the tickets. Out tour started around 30 minutes late, while waiting for Lucy and the last couple to arrive as well as the last minute addition of a person who was not scheduled for the tour. The addition of that person resulted in a change in the seating arrangements ( we were 6 couples) leaving one of the couples to sit by themselves, instead of socializing with the others at tables for 4 & 6.

This is a wonderful food tour through Palermo Soho. We stopped at four locations and had everything from empanadas to Choripan to pizza to steak. We also had a mate tasting, which was a lot of fun.
Our guide Lucy was an absolute delight, and talked to us about the food, its history, the neighborhood, and anything else we wanted to talk about. She also offered to provide advice and guidance to us during the rest of our stay by keeping in touch through WhatsApp, which we really appreciated.
This is a walking tour, but most of the places are pretty close together; the only walk over 5 minutes was to our last location.
I highly recommend this tour early in your stay so you’ll be better equipped to find the food and restaurants you want later in your stay. Also, while they do this during the day or in the evening, we really enjoyed the 6pm start. It was cooler and when we finished around 9pm, the nightlife in the area was just getting started.

Great food tour at 5 different locations. And one built on the other, ending with wonderfully prepared steak, empanadas, and Italian ice cream! Would definitely do again.
The only negative is that a different food tour company reserved 9 seats at our 2nd stop, Chori, for excellent beef sandwiches. Although we got there before them, we had to eat outside in 90 degree heat heat index over 100 and their food was ready before ours. So, they should consider reserving our seats before we arrive.

We met our guide, Martin, promptly at the easily recognizable rendezvous point and were joined by 8 other people. Martin was friendly, took time to converse with everyone along the route. He explained the local food and drink traditions as he led us to five different restaurants for a variety of experiences. From local pizza, mate tea , and delicious steak the flavors along with Martin’s explanations made the entire experience memorable. Getting to know the other people was a lot of fun as well. We highly recommend this tour

We did the walking food tour with Martín and had a great time! It went a bit longer than expected, but that was no problem and gave us extra time to enjoy the foods. Martín's minicourse on how to enjoy Mate like a local was especially informative. We left stuffed with good food, and more appreciation of the lively area.

Our tour guide, Martin, was spectacular. We went to five different places and experienced a variety of foods from pizza to choripan (Palermo style) to mate and chocolate to some of the best steak I've ever tasted. We ended with tasty and rich scoops of Italian ice cream. The pace was fun and relaxing. Along the way we learned a lot from Martin about Argentinian food, culture, and people. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience Palermo: the food, the fun, and fabulous vibe of the neighborhood.

Loved this tour. All the food was delicious with a good mix between sweet / savoury. Amalia was full of excellent knowledge around both the food and the city and made it a really engaging tour. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves food and a bit of history! The empanadas were delicious!
