We were collected promptly from our hotel and taken to the airport. Our pilot, Aaron, was extremely professional and safe. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative throughout our flight. We had the most exceptional views of the Horizontal Fall, and views of the terrain on the way, and the coast on the way back. Our lunch was a simple, delicious and plentiful salad. All in all a wonderful day.

Spectacular scenery & good commentary by pilot also spotted several pods of whales quite a long time in a small plane which got very warm inside on the trip home

Going on this one day trip is an unmissable experience when visiting the Kimberley region. Magical!! A must to see this vast land from bird's eye view. Great contrast of the land, amazing colours of the coast and water.
Visiting one of the pearl farms gives you an appreciation in how the pearls have been extracted, and the value of one such pearl.
Our tour guide on the day was knowledgeable and a great pilot. A lovely stopover for lunch as well at the Cygnet Bay, with delicious meal.

The pilot was professional and friendly. The weather was pretty gusty but that wasn’t a problem.
The scenery was just beautiful. The snacks were tasty and the whole tour was wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Had a great day and the staff were fantastic and friendly. Our Pilot Jack was a pleasure all day and we saw some amazing sites. It's a real shame that we had to deal with a cloudy day but you can't control the weather. Our lunch at the hatchery was awesome. Thanks for a great day.

Flying over the Horizontal Falls was a bucket list experience. Magical views all the way along and excellent commentary by our pilot Simmi. A swim and lunch at the beach followed by a tour of the Hatchery with a beautiful Bardi-Jawi woman named Jas was also exceptional. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of the experience.

Old and shabby airplane - Sitting in the airplane in the middle seat meant that visibility of the horizontal falls was limited. The plane flew quite high over the falls…. Experience was like watching a video
The tour was meant to be a half day but went from 9 am till 4.30pm - a lot of faffing around - lunch , swim and visit to aquaculture business seemed to just be padding out time and were very ordinary as experiences
Overall I felt it was not value for money
The young pilots Ryan and Ollie however were delightful.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent tour experience with us. Your feedback is very surprising, and we are very disappointed to hear the tour did not meet your expectations.
The aircraft you travelled in was a Cessna Grand Caravan which isn’t old nor is it shabby, so I find it difficult to make comment. We don’t normally fly the Cessna Grand Caravan on our tours however given the inundation of bookings at present, to ensure all visitors to Broome have the opportunity to experience the Kimberley during busy times, we utilise this aircraft on occasion. The seating allocation is determined by the weight and balance of the aircraft and whilst we endeavour to allocate couples in the 2-seat configuration, we can’t always achieve this. We also have a minimum legal height that we can overfly the falls at which still allows for spectacular views of the Horizontal Falls. Our full day tours are 12 hours in duration, our Buccaneer Explorer is approximately 6-7 hours long hence why we call it a half day tour.
Our Buccaneer Explorer is a 5-star experience and was recently awarded Viator ‘Best of the Best’ Top 20 experience in Australia & NZ based on guest reviews. As you are aware our tour encompasses the stunning Kimberley Coastline, Horizontal Falls, Buccaneer Archipelago with a stopover at Ardyaloon to experience an Indigenous Community and to share and learn about the Bardi-Jawi culture. The use of “Ordinary experiences, faffing around and padding out” is most disappointing and not consistent with the other 502 amazing reviews. Our most common feedback from guest reviews is “exceptional value for money” and this is something we focus heavily on including the extra small touches we provide throughout the day.

Flying over Cockatoo & Koolan Islands I used to work there from77/92 done many trips thru the Gaps.Horizontal falls is a better marketing term 4 tourism also flying over & around the Dampier Peninsula as living on islands flew in/out Derby.the aboriginal guide @ Ardyloon is a character amusing his xplanation was much better than the many guides I’ve had travelling over the last 12 yrsthe only thing I didn’t like was when we flew over Koolan I was on wrong side of plane

What a great experience we had with everything taken care of including water, morning tea and lunch. Amy was a wonderful knowledgable pilot who took care for both sides of the plane to take photos of the falls. Recommend this tour thoroughly.

Thanks to our pilots Amy and Olie for an awesome day. We were met with smiles and friendly service and that did not stop. The flyover the Horizontal Falls was incredible with the flight timed to see the flows at their peak. A nice lunch and an informative tour at One Arm Point. (though it was a little too windy to swim on our day). Then a flight over the coast line highlighting sites and history; and we got a perfect sunset from the air!!!

We had a fantastic 1/2 day tour, which was really almost a full day tour - 8:30 to 3:30pm! Our pilot, Ben, was fantastic in showing us the beautiful sites in the Dampier peninsula, Bucaneer archipelago and the coastline back to Broome. Ben also provided some history on the area. Ben was excellent at catering to our needs. I boarded the plane feeling very anxious about flying and due to Ben’s flying skills by the end of the trip I had no qualms! I can’t recommend this tour group more.
