Your 3-hour trip begins at the Bovec Sport Center, where you'll meet your expert kayak guide and head by coach to the launch site near Boka Waterfall. There, your group will get a brief lesson in safety and paddling before setting off on the sparkling Soca River. Designed for beginner kayakers, no technical paddling skills are required. Enjoy the assistance of slow-moving currents as you view the breathtaking scenery.
Paddle past waterfalls, jugged mountain peaks and alpine forest, learning the basics of kayaking from your guide. Beginners will get a taste of whitewater as your group heads into faster portions of the river, where harmonizing with the natural current is key. Enjoy the rush of dipping into whirlpools and over small waves, then leisurely paddle back to your shuttle for the return trip to Bovec.
Note: Riders have the choice of an open-top beginner kayak or closed-top version for more experienced kayakers.
