Christian is a friendly and safe driver. He was very accommodating and provided fantastic suggestions during our one day trip. There is an extra $10 charge to go beyond the area, which we did and it was worth it!

This is for a car and private driver, not a tour guide. We chose this option versus taking a guided tour, because Batam is so small that we could plan our half day tour on our own. I got a confirmation from the company and our driver, Petro (sp?) picked us up from the ferry terminal after exiting immigration. He had a sign with my name as they promised. He spoke very little English, but was very nice. We told him place by place where we wanted to go and he took us there with no issues. If you just want a car and private driver, this company delivered.

Taxi to Galang -- perfect

We wanted to visit the former refugee camps in Galang. Unfortunately, Rome2Rio indicated they were a short distance ce from Batam Center. When we realized the problem it was the evening before we were taking tge ferry to Batam. We contacted the car rental/driver via Viatur who set us up straight away. We were met at the exit from immigration and customs. Our driver was great, getting us to the camp, touring around in the pouring rain. We can't recommend them highly enough.
