The transfers for the excursions are from and to central hotels in Bariloche to Av. Bustillo Km 8. If your hotel is not included, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should go so that we can pick you up. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.

Itinerary

Begin your day's adventure with pickup at your hotel in Bariloche. From there, transfer to Puerto Puerto Pañuelo, located just 15 miles (25km) outside of town.

Step aboard a boat and sail out into Lake Nahuel Huapi; be sure to have your camera handy for views of Nahuel Huapi National Park's landscape. After 30 minutes of travel on the water, go ashore in Puerto Anchorena on Victoria Island.

Choose to hike with the guide or on your own in Arrayanes Forest. Walk to Patagua Lagoon to see the pebble beaches, head for the Balcony on Cerro Bella Vista, explore the former National Nursery Trail or discover the ancient Cave Paintings.

Visit a picturesque rustic cottage deep in the Arrayanes Forest, said to have inspired Walt Disney as he created the setting for the movie Bambi. Enter the cottage for a tea and snack or to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs. At the end of the trail you will find a Visitor Center where you can visit with the national park rangers.

Return to Bariloche the way you came; your tour ends with hotel drop-off.

Marvelous experience with the trip. The operator for Viator did not sold the transfer, that we bought at the counter of Turisur, because the Port is 20 miles from Bariloche city center.

I was expecting an English guided trip with 3 h in Victoria island and 2 h in arrayanes island with maximum 10 people in the group, just as mentioned in the description. On the other hand, we got there on time for the trip (10:00) and then the guid told us in spanish (I am a spanish speaker but my husbend is not) that the 3 h in Victoria island is only for the spanish tour, and if we want everything in English, we would have to waite until 14:00 and have only one hour on victoria island. We decided to take the spanish tour because we were not going to wait so much time to get a shorter tour. Then, on the ship, we discovered that there were way more than 10 people on the tour and that there are more the are going to come. Moreover, on the Arayanes island there was even an additional catamaran that was added and the island was way overcrowded. Eventually, when the english speaker group showed up, we saw that even there the English guidence was lacking. Adding to that the tour is overpriced to begin with and after that we had to pay national park fee of 24 usd each and a parking fee for our car (about 15 usd). I do not think that the tour price is worth it. Long story short, it is not a fully guided tour in english, not a maximum of 10 people and the timing on each island is way shorter than mentioned. I would recommend to take a simple bout to Victoria island and to the Arrayanes forest you could get by foot or bicycle.

False advertisement; big dissappointment!

The experience we received, while somewhat enjoyable was nothing like what was advertised/what we ordered. We registered for a 10am trip including 2 hours with an English speaking guide. We received tix to a 2pm boat trip with no English. It was also advertised as a small group tour and ended up about 250 people. Very disappointed. WOULD NOT REVOMMEND! Save your money. The scenery from the boat was pretty, but you can see similar views elsewhere in Bariloche. And the trees can also be found around Bariloche; no need to go to the island/forest.

TRIP WAS INTERESTING but the cost was double that of buying direct from Turi Sur and the ‘tour’ offered no additional benefits. There was a suggestion of hotel pickup which is not on offer. There is no representative from Greyline. Vicotira Island is intersting. The boat trip is quite long at three hours all up there and back. Take a cushion of you can.

Nice boat trip, also beautiful nature. It was sunny so the boat ride was also great. Nice trip but too expensive for what you see. We wouldn’t do it again. Just because the price/value does not fit in our opinion.

Great trip despite initial problems

The boat tour to Isla Victoria and Arrayanes Forest was absolutely excellent. Location is out of this world. We had 2 stops on the journey, the first for about 45 minutes which gave us plenty of time to walk around the island Los Arrayanes. The second stop at Isla Victoria was 1 hour and three quarters. Plenty of time to discover the island or just sit and enjoy the beach as some did. Unfortunately someone forgot to complete our booking so when we arrived at the port at the start there was a lot of confusion which was solved by a very helpful guy from the boat tour company who sorted us out with tickets on the following boat. So what did not start well ended up being a very good experience.

I think we would have been better booking this ourselves. We drive to the puerto and arrived far too early Facilities at the port are not good The boat trip was fun but they use the loudspeaker far too much. The forest walk was very good. It would have been good to have a tour leader for the Isla Victoria

The guide who lead a group of us through the forest area of the island was very knowledgable about the island and clearly lead as an expert in the field . The Sequoia trees she explained about being planted from California trees was a surprising highlight.

I made the reservation with Viator that sent it to TuriSur and send it to Bartion . I wanted transportation but at the end I was told to get on my own to Puerto Pañuelo , 25 km away . There is no way to get a taxi back ti Bariloche after the tour . I would have never booked it without transportation . Horrible experience and very misleading . Never again

An expensive water taxi

The scenery is undoubtedly spectacular, but this really is just a very expensive water taxi. It's not that comfortable either. Rather a costly ride for 1h15 on one island and 45 minutes in a forest. Both were nice to visit, but these companies have tourists cornered into paying a lot to see them. Add to it the very pricey entry into the park itself ($20 per person in 2022).

La información sobre en que consistía la travesía fue escasa. Fue difícil de ir con un coche de bebé. Habían varios costos adicionales que se tenían que pagar al llegar al lugar de embarque como la tasa de embarque y la entrada al bosque. El pago solo incluía andar en el barco, un paseo caro que no cumplió con nuestras expectativas, bajarse al bosque fueron 40 minutos y en la isla victoria eran 1 hora 15 minutos.

Viajar en los asientos de afuera del catamaran y darle de comer a las gaviotas, fue increíble. No pongo 5 estrellas ya que el precio de las bebidas y comida es exorbitantemente caro. La atención de los guías y personal muy buenas

Muy interesante la visita a la isla y al bosque de arrayanes. El guía es fundamental en este recorrido debido a la cantidad de datos que puede aportar para hacer del recorrido algo muy interesante.
