Overall, this Amazon tour offers good value and features some great standout moments, though the pacing could have been a bit more engaging. The highlights included the beautiful waterfall and the fun Tarzan swing, which really delivered on adventure.However, the village visit was extremely uncomfortable; the animals appeared to be in distress, and it felt so distressing that I couldn't leave fast enough. I originally wanted a tour without that specific stop after reading other reviews, but unfortunately, it seems most standard Amazon tours bundle these exact same components together.I truly wish some operator would start offering an option completely without that segment. Skipping it would significantly improve the tour's overall timing and flow. If operators are worried about supporting locals, I would be much happier to simply donate directly to the Amazon communities, or have them show us the items they sell so we can buy from them directly.

It was a packed day. We had a lot of things to do. It was amazing. The view along the road were incredible. It was worth every penny. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

The tour should be in english but the guide did not speak english at all. He did not communicate and me and my friend were excluded from the information. For example: he had a whistle which he used in multiple ways but he did not explain in english what it meant.
He also did not tell us that we had to get in the boat and the boats left without us and we had to get back in the buss
Very dissapointing: tour guide was named dolphin or something.
We do not recommend this tour - waste of a day in ecuador

After carefully investigating what happened with our driver, guide, and the canoe staff, we found that the tour was conducted as scheduled. This is a shared tour, and the guide spoke in English throughout the experience. In fact, several other English-speaking travelers were with the same guide that day, and we did not receive any similar concerns from them.
According to the information provided by all the staff involved, when the group arrived at the waterfall stop, the other travelers stayed to enjoy the activities and the time at the site. However, you decided to return to the bus and remained separate from the rest of the group.
Later, when the group arrived at the canoe departure point, the guide gave instructions for everyone to board together. Instead, you chose to walk toward the bridge on your own rather than follow the guide's directions. Our staff called you to rejoin the group, but you declined and returned to the bus.
For this reason, the guide was unable to provide the full experience or explanations during those parts of the tour, as you had separated yourselves from the group by personal choice.
We always strive to provide a high-quality experience for every guest, and we take all feedback seriously. We appreciate your comments and wish you all the best in your future travels.
Long day but awesome. Very neat expierences at each stop. Just be sure to bring a swimsuit for the waterfall. I didn't see that listed anywhere on here but they do let you spend some time there and swim if you have a change of clothes. Hike can be a bit difficult for people that have mobility issues.

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Visiting the community was a once in a life time opportunity! The waterfall was stunning and the chocolate tasting at the end was such a nice surprise! With every penny. And the view point with the swing was wonderful

Fue maravilloso el paseo en canoa por el río y la visita al último mirador con columpio.
Sin embargo, pagamos mucho más que el resto de los turistas solo por haber usado Viator como intermediario. Además, muchas actividades no estaban incluidas y tuvimos que pagar muchos extras durante el día (propinas a las comunidades, chocolate caliente, pagar por sostener animales, propinas al guía, etc)
