Randall was an absolutely skilled, knowledgeable and friendly guide. So talented and knowledge, caring and engaging with everyone while cracking jokes and singing to us. He got us home safely when the wind and sea picked up. He was simply the best guide I’ve ever had on a tour.
I do not recommend the BLUE LAGOON | Eco-tour | Snorkeling Avatoru | Secret Green Lagoon. There was very little snokeling and I was very disappointed. The Blue Lagoon was beautiful. Very nice shallow snorkeling and reef tip sharks. The Avatoru is very rough all the time so they should not have advertised snokeling there. The secret green lagoon was a small unimpressive visual. I was hoping we would snorkel there.
It is a long boat ride about 45 minutes. It was very rough on the way back luckily they gave us rain coats because of all the splashing in the boat. People were nice and so was the lunch. Part ot the tour was making the hats with leaves. I was told we would do that after lunch and it never happened.
I wish I chose a different snorkel trip.

The program of our excursion is clearly stated in our description. It is a discovery of the Blue Lagoon and the Secret Green Lagoon, with snorkeling in the Avatoru Pass when sea conditions allow it. This is in no way an excursion exclusively dedicated to snorkeling.
Yes, Madam, it takes approximately 45 minutes of navigation across Rangiroa’s main lagoon to reach the Blue Lagoon. This travel time is also clearly mentioned in our description and was reminded to you by our team that same morning on board the boat. You therefore had all the necessary information regarding the itinerary and should not have been surprised by the duration of the boat ride.
If your main objective was to spend your day snorkeling, then you should have chosen from the beginning a tour operated by a center specialized in this activity. Our excursion offers a complete discovery of several sites in Rangiroa, rather than a full day dedicated exclusively to snorkeling. We therefore cannot be held responsible if your expectations did not correspond to the program you booked.
Regarding the Secret Green Lagoon, Madam, it is a natural site, and we completely understand that it may not suit your personal taste. Not every site can please everyone, and this simply comes down to personal preference. This does not diminish the value of the site or the work our team does to share it with our guests.
You yourself stated that you enjoyed the Blue Lagoon, the snorkeling, the sharks, the lunch, and the kindness of our team. It is therefore regrettable that, despite these positive aspects, you chose to discourage future visitors from taking our entire excursion simply because one activity could not take place that day for safety reasons.

We respect your disappointment and your personal opinion. We had an amazing time on this excursion. Our tour lead was hilarious and had lots of information for us. The food for lunch was delicious. We saw tons of cute little black tip reef sharks in the lagoon and got a terrific tour of the bird sanctuary. The drift snorkel was cool.
bring water shoes, snorkel and mask if you prefer your own. Guides are great, food is delicious and scenery is breathtaking! A great excursion that shouldn't be missed.

The tour guides were easy going Brando was so funny and cheerful. The Blue Lagoon is really paradise it was so spectacular. Our lunch was delicious , we enjoyed trying traditional foods . The boat trip is long and can be Rough so they mean it when they say it’s not for everyone. If you are fit and adventurous this is a great day out , we loved it and the crew all did a great job looking after us . Would highly recommend it

Absolutely incredible experience! I’ve never seen such stunning beaches and so many calm, curious sharks in one place. Our tour guide, Poema Burns, was equally amazing—if you’re lucky enough to have her, you’re in for a treat. The local food lunch was delicious, and the entire crew radiated passion for what they do. It was also heartening to see how well the islands are cared for. Truly unforgettable.

We had a wonderful time exploring the lagoon with our guide Brando. We were concerned about the sun exposure but the boat had a good sun bimini, the lunch stop was shaded and breezy, and we spent plenty of time in the water. The lunch was grilled chicken and fresh fish all excellently cooked. To wrap up the day we drift snorkeled the Avatoru Pass teaming with fish and a lemon shark. Bravo to Brando and his team!
We have never seen such a beauty- turquoise waters, white sand beaches and sand bars….and lots of black tipped reef sharks and two sting rays at our feet. The leaders were warm, fun, and energetic. The food was great. An incredible day! We even saw an eagle ray on the way home at the green lagoon and we had a final amazing snorkel at Avatoru pass!

The tour was fantastic. The lunch was the best meal ever! We picked up fresh fish from a local fisherman on our way to the beach for a BBQ lunch. Highly recommend ! Snorkeling with friendly Black tip sharks. And the aquarium of tropical fish was un believable.

Was a very relaxing trip to me! I felt more relaxed than I have in a while. The blue lagoon was beautiful and we saw a variety of wildlife and sharks there. I thought the boat ride was fun but I could see how some people might struggle because it’s a long ride and if it’s rough, you’re stuck. My husband and I only speak English and it was challenging to get as much out of the tour as everyone else in French, which we understand. The food was amazing and we enjoyed learning what we did about the culture of Tahiti!

Our main guide/host was a young man with a great sense of humor and personality (good English and French). His family (aunt) makes the lunch at their family place on the beach. Fun hands on coconut opening lesson too
