The "Legends" walking tour in Antwerp with Bieke was fabulous! She is a native and a local. In addition to explaining the general and architectural history of the Gros Markt and other historically important places, she also shared with us an insiders' knowledge and little known facts and gems. I wish I had not waited until the last day to do the tour. If I visit Antwerp again, I will spend some time at the lesser-known museums etc. that Bieke told us about and showed us.

We walked with Birke at 9:30 am NYE 2025. She was an excellent guide: passionate about Antwerp, knowledgeable about the history and as a local shared fun information from her perspective.
The tour was one of the larger Free Walking Tours we have taken and she managed the group size well.
We’d highly recommend taking this tour as you get to Antwerp as it’s a great grounding for other things you may want to do.

Antwerp is a magical city and so very worthy of your exploration. If you're the museum type, you've found a winner. Very walkable, great day and evening walking tours and just wonderful food. Do try the House of Waffles and go for it (so much more than waffles).
