We had Kareem pick us up from the dock and take us to this beautiful beach at Dickinson Bay. They gave us a rum punch, two chairs and a beach umbrella.
Later on, they made us the most delicious grilled lobster,I’ve ever eaten that Kareem fishes right out of the water.
Kareem picked us up right when we asked him to and drove us back to the ship. What a wonderful day thanks to Kareem. He truly is an awesome man!
I truly recommend this trip for those who love the beach and just for a relaxing beautiful day

What an incredible day! Beautiful beach, chair, umbrella and lobster. What more could you ask for. You won't be disappointed. For just relaxing, it's one of the best tours I've ever taken!

This was a great experience! We loved the view riding in the open air vehicle to the beach. The beach spot was fantastic, far away from the busy section of the beach. Lunch was delicious. Our only slightly negative takeaway was the bathroom facilities are a bit far away but overall awesome trip, we would do it again!

Did this tour two years ago and the lobster dinner was excellent. This year it was TERRIBLE. Lobster and chicken was unseasoned, burnt and tasted like lighter fluid. There was no peas and rice this time and just a corner of bread that was also burned. He was also in a new location so maybe it was a new cook. I couldn’t wait to get back on ship to get that burnt taste outta my mouth. I hyped this tour up to my daughter wan was so embarrassed. I could have just taken a cab to the beach and ate somewhere else. I would have came out cheaper. I attached two photos for comparison. Photo with rice was two years ago.

For any cruise guest a perfect beach day. Transfer was perfect arranged, friendly crew and an amazing lobsterlunch on the beach.

Wow local host on time hotel pickup and drop off so friendly and welcoming went the extra mile and took us to 2 amazing beaches Runaway Bay and Mystic Beach Bar was heaven for a few hours the beach was incredible as was the lobster lunch locally caught!! Rum punch cool beers and all so laid back so pressure just wanted us to enjoy the day. All in all fantastic and would 100% recommend.

We were met by Karim at the cruise terminal who was very funny and sociable. There was just the two of us in his vehicle. He took us to the quieter part of the beach where we were greeted by Stephen and Pamela who gave us a great welcome and gave us beach front loungers. The lobster lunch was fresh and delicious and the rum punch superb. Great day with lovely people. Highly recommended.

Salt Life Tours was amazing! On time pickup for a quick ride to the Beach. Lounge chairs and umbrellas were available, the beach was serene and not crowded. Freshly grilled lobster and chicken was amazing! So glad we booked this amazing experience!

Kareem was punctual and communicated to us when he arrived at Pier 7. He set us up at at the end of the crowded beach not far from a restaurant if we needed to use the facilities. The lobster & chicken meal was huge and tasty. It started raining hard with lots of clouds around and just shortly after he came to get us with a rain umbrella. Now that's service! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Our cruise offered the same thing for a much higher cost.

It has been an entire week since we participated in this excursion, but I’m still suffering from an injury I received on the transportation vehicle. The morning of the excursion, we received a message from the tour company to meet our guide at Rum Runners and that he would be wearing a white shirt. At 5 minutes after the meeting time, a guy in a dirty blue shirt (and no sign) comes up to us and said to come with him. He didn’t introduce himself, but said he was our tour guide. He put us in the back of an open air van with benches all around the edges and nothing in the middle. There were no seat belts. At 5’4”, my feet dangled because I couldn’t touch the floor. The floor of the van was rusted out and had holes in it. He did take us to Dickenson Bay Beach where we were provided lounge chairs and an umbrella. We had to figure out on our own where the restrooms were and ask when we were having lunch. On the plus side, the lunch and rum punch was good. When it came time to leave, he put us back in that worn out van with benches all around the sides. My husband and I were sitting on the rear benches. While driving back to Rum Runners, a car pulled out in front of us and he had to hit the breaks fast. I flew off the bench and hit the benches at the front of the vehicle. My hip was badly bruised and it still hurts to walk. The side of my face also hit the front, but bruising was minimal. My husband was luckier because he is much taller than me and braced himself with his feet. He only had a small bruise and some scratched knuckles. I would not recommend this excursion because the vehicle is not safe and the driver was perhaps driving a little too aggressively.

We booked this last minute, The beach was beautiful, we had chairs, umbrellas, welcome rum punch, there was a cooler with water and beers for purchase. A nice fresh cooked lunch was served to you in your lounge chair. You are a short walk to a resort and restaurant/bathroom, and local vendors.
Two of us didn't eat lobster so we were given chicken, but unfortunately my note for one vegetarian didn't make it through, and our host attempted to accommodate last minute but it was difficult and he was disappointed. When it came time to leaving, he offered to drive us first, or drive another group and come "right back" for us (the port is approximately 10 minutes away). We appreciated the extra time until his colleagues were saying he is a few minutes away..we packed up walked to the road, and they kept telling us he was a few minutes (10-15) away that was not decreasing as time lapses. We stood there of for about a half hour after almost an extra hour on the beach. I had written when we had to be back on the ship, so he knew but it was making my group worry and the people he worked alongside irritated as well. A great option to enjoy a beautiful beach but be sure to communicate with your host.

There were six couples and they took great care of us! The lobster lunch was amazing. We loved the private area we were on at the beach. Actually was better than further down the beach where the hotel was. Great chairs and umbrellas.

This was a fabulous day at the beach. The hosts are wonderful. You get to sit at a quiet end of the beach so it was very relaxing! The spiny lobster lunch was delicious! Best part - the host is super flexible about departure, they’ll get you back to the port when it suits your schedule and you don’t have to leave as a group.

We had a small group of 12. The beach was nice, sandy and not crowded at all. The guides were great, very friendly and helpful. Lunch was fantastic. Would definitely do it again

This was my favorite excursion of our cruise. We were met at the port by a friend of Steven…apparently Steven overslept! Lol. He met us at the beach and we had the best day ever. Lunch was included and it was beyond amazing. Lobster, jerk chicken and potatoes. He had rum drinks and beer available to purchase, and provided chairs and an umbrella. Even though it rained during the day, we loved every minute of our time with Steven.

Relaxing day on a white sand beach and warm water. Private pickup at cruise port and escort to our umbrelled beachchairs by Steven. Rum punch and Caribbean chicken lunch. Pamala beach massage topped off the afternoon. Wifi too! Back to the ship without stress.

We enjoyed our trip out to the beach as we got a history lesson. Kareem took us by the cathedral on our way. We were thankful to have an umbrella as we were in a huge rain storm. We loved our lobster lunch, it was huge! Rum drinks were delicious!

The excursion got off to a stressful start when I couldn’t locate the meeting spot. Heritage Quay is quite expansive, so offering a more precise landmark like Rumrunners would have been appreciated.
The other booked party never appeared so we eventually left the port. I was the only passenger & was treated royally.
Steven, driver/guide/chef, was a pleasure to get to know. Once at the beach, he set up my chair/umbrella & I was all set for a terrific beach day.
Two things to be aware of: bathrooms are a few hundred yards down the beach; there is quite a steep drop off once you enter the water—something to watch out for if one has mobility or balance issues. Water color is typical Caribbean turquoise—gorgeous & refreshing.
Steven prepared/served lobster & chicken lunch at the agreed upon time. Hope I’ll be able to attach a photo—it was delightful & very filling.
Overall, I was impressed with the beach —busy but not loud or crowded where I was sitting. I was even more impressed with the service & attention I received from Steven. He has the perfect demeanor & personality for this job. In addition to his driving & grilling skills, he also excels in describing aspects of life in Antigua.
I recommend this excursion enthusiastically.

This was the best excursion our 10 day Caribbean cruise. Kareem met us promptly at the cruise board and took us through a scenic drive to get to the beautiful Dickinson Bay. The waters are absolutely beautiful, multiple shades of blue and so clear. We had chairs with umbrellas on a very quiet part of the beach, thankfully away from the big resorts. It was so peaceful and gorgeous. We were treated to a delicious lobster and chicken lunch and beverages. It was a slow paced day which is exactly what we want when we're lying on a Caribbean beach. thank you to Kareem and Stephen for a beautiful day.

The beach is trash! The surroundings around the beach are disgusting. The lobster lunch provided with the cost of the excursion is crap. A lobster shell with dry lobster whatever, four pieces of garlic bread (What was I suppose to do with that!!) A spoonful of undressed salad. My wife got the same dry disgusting lobster in a shell with a spoonful of rice and a spoonful of undressed salad. “The Open Bar” was a guy (Steve) with a cooler with a gallon of some type of punch and bottled water. Next to us was a bunch of people with loud music, loud talking, smoking pot with a local walking by with his dog. No umbrellas. We had to walk down the beach to find a restaurant/bar that would let us use the bathroom if we bought something. It cost $30 to use the bathroom. There is where we saw the English Phone Booth that is advertised on Viators customer pictures. Steve the guy who picked us up, lounged on a lounge chair back a bit behind us until we were ready to go back to our ship. Then we had a woman come around wanting to massage us. It was obviously Steve’s friend since she went to sit with him. This was such a disappointing, disgusting excursion we have been on. It is NOTHING like it was advertised!! I was so upset because it was my wife’s birthday and I wanted it to be a beautiful day on a beautiful beach with drinks flowing with a beautiful lobster lunch. It was none absolutely none of that! I wish I could upload the video and pictures of this disgusting dump. Speaking of dump there were piles of rubbish and crap all around. I wanted to cry because of how dirty and disgusting it was and I wanted it to be so special for my wife’s birthday. I can go on and on about how terrible this experience was but there were too many things wrong with the whole day. Do Not do The Dickinson Bay Beach Excursion.

Our driver was on time and with a pleasant and bright attitude! We had the entire beach to ourselves and it made the experience that much more relaxing and amazing. Our guide was extremely patient and attentive serving us drinks and food. The grilled lobster was amazing, as well as the salad, chicken, and garlic bread. That homemade thousand island dressing was a 20/10, delicious! Thank you so much for an amazing day in a piece of paradise. Unforgettable 😊.

Pick-up was on time and the overall beach experience was lovely. The beach itself was beautiful, and the sun loungers, umbrellas, and rum punch made for a relaxing day.
However, the lobster lunch was disappointing. The lobster was dry, and the meal only came with two small pieces of sweet potato and a mini bread. Unfortunately, considering the cost of the excursion, the lunch did not feel worth it.

The driver was an hr late. Then when it was time to return the bus’s key did not work. There wasn’t anything to do on that beach. Spent all that money on one rum punch two meals and ride. Not pleased at all. The host was nice but when we were stuck in the bus for 45 mins before he called for help. When giving this kind of service please try to entertain. The more pleased the customer is more inclined to spend more.

Please when writing a review please be honest. You booked our tour at 9:30am and our excursion starts at 10.00 Remember we have to pick you up at your hotel not the cruise ship.
We catered to your request to have local fish along with the lobster lunch .. your driver had a key problem so you was transported in another vehicle. Please this is a beach excursion with lunch .. beach recliners umbrellas and lunch .. there is no activities. It’s not for that! We gave what we promised and more. So I find your review extremely unappreciative and you not an honest person. I actually begged my supervisor to help you guys since the booking came in a half an hour before we started!

It was a great experience. Steven was very good. The only suggestion is make sure you have your suit on because there aren't any bathrooms on the beach. We had to walk down to the closest hotel buy drinks to use facilities. The lunch of lobster and corn and jerk chicken was tasty.

It was a very relaxing day on a beautiful beach with driver Steven and host/chef Kareem. Steven picked us up at the port with one other couple. In 10 minutes we were walking to our spot on the beach where Steven set us up with two nice beach chairs & umbrella. Kareem arrived with his cooler of drinks and live lobsters as he fired up the grill. Dickinson Beach was absolutely beautiful and not crowded at all. So relaxing and quiet as Steven made us our rum punches and the smell of the grill cooking the lobsters and jerk chicken. There are no buildings or resorts where we were. It’s rustic but authentic and relaxing. Steven & Kameer were friendly, welcoming and it was a peaceful relaxing day on the beach with beautiful weather and warm waters.
