We started a bit late and ran short on time (not our fault). So while we wanted to go to St Paul de Vence we simply did not have the time. That said the tour was beautiful. We rode thru parks, along spectacular vistas by the sea, stopped at the most charming market in old town for sandwiches and ate at a bench in a beautiful village outside St Paul. We loved the experience. We would have skipped the tower (since it wasn’t open and we couldn’t see the 360 degree views) and the modern harbor (nothing really to see there). I would request a tour to St. Paul de vence with at least an hour to wander the town before heading back. As it was we had to hop a train back to make it on time. All in all, a great way to spend 4 1/2 hrs. I would recommmend the tour with clear caveats.

Thank you Stacey and Ken for your kind review and remarks that permit us to correct it. As you had a private tour and you had to be back earlier at 2.30pm we could have stopped in Saint-Paul-de-Vence but only for 30mn. We just had set the tour a bit longer (6 to 7hrs- instead 5h30) to have more time to spend at each stop and in Saint Paul. Concerning the tower stop, you are right, it was closed that day but we pass anyway from there because it's on the way, to avoid other roads with traffic and to enjoy the beauty of the panoramic view and the beautiful church which are very emblematic and almost 360°. The same for the modern marina, even if that's not totally my cup of tea, that's on the way (we don't miss any time passing there) and I think that a lot of people are quite impressed to pass through.
We keep improving this itinerary that is very diverse and wonderfull on my point of view and require a medium/good fitness level and to be definitely at ease on E-Bike (and pretty safe with maybe 70% of cycle lanes, some small roads and some off the beaten tracks)

Samuel made it very fun for our small group - he checked in with all of us along the way, and took us up and down paths we never would’ve found on our own. It was a little more challenging than we thought when we signed up (28 miles), but if you’re reasonably fit, you can do it and just be pleasantly tired and sore that night. The stop along the river for a picnic with great traditional food from a boulangerie - with the view of the ducks, fish, and greenery - was a highlight. Of course, we enjoyed seeing the lighthouse on the Cape, and the trip up to Saint Paul de Vence. This is a new trip and we appreciated Samuel asking for feedback on both what we loved and what might make it even better. He is a dedicated and gracious host and guide.
