Food stops were great choices. Really gave you taste of the island. Our bellies were full and we had drinks as well. Tour guide, Jamil, was charismatic and funny. Great conversations with him. We would highly recommend this tour.

My mom and I love doing food tours when we travel and this one was great! Just enough food and all of it was good. Mel, our guide, was great as well! Would recommend! It’s nice to do it closer to the beginning of your trip as you then get good tips on restaurants and food for the rest of your stay.

This food tour was amazing ! Mel was a great tour guide and even gave a bit of a history lesson. We didn’t think would get full on this tour but it happened. Everything was good, beverages were also included. I would recommend to anyone visiting San Pedro.

We had an excellent experience on our food tour in Belize with Jamil Trejo. He did a fantastic job pacing the tour so that it never felt rushed or overwhelming, and his explanations of each dish really added depth to the experience. You can tell he genuinely enjoys sharing Belizean culture.
Jamil also went above and beyond by offering great recommendations for things to do afterward, especially around Secret Beach, which made the rest of our day even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights was discovering a restaurant on the tour that we liked a lot, we actually went back later that same day for a full meal. That alone says a lot about how well-curated the stops were.
A small suggestion for the chocolate factory stop: offering a sampling of chocolate drinks (teas or hot chocolate) in smaller cups could be a great way to introduce visitors to the flavors and encourage purchases. It feels like an easy win that would enhance an already great stop on the tour.
Overall, highly recommend this tour—Jamil does an outstanding job making it both delicious and memorable.

My husband and I went to Belize for our 26th anniversary. Melva (Mel) was very sweet. Small walking tour group so all questions were answered. She gave the background of each stop. The food and drinks were delicious. Next time I want to do the dinner tour. Thanks Melva!

What a great culinary experience! I loved Melva and appreciated the fact that every place she took us was locally owned and operated. The food was scrumptious, evenly placed and perfect portion size.
