Get out there and really experience the Red Centre.

This trip is a chance to experience this landscape in a close up and simple manner. Be prepared to ‘muck in’ (unpack truck, prepare meals and clean up). This is a great way to get to know your fellow travellers. Swags are basic, not the modern type with zip up dome over your head. Tip - if enough available, add a second mattress from another swag for extra comfort. Sleeping under the stars is magic! Food is fresh, basic and plentiful. We were so lucky to have Sid as our guide. He communicates his vast knowledge in a clear manner, highlighting interesting points rather than bombarding the group with too much. His deep connection to and respect for the culture of Indigenous peoples made the trip a profound experience for me. Sid’s sense of humour was also appreciated.
