The Gift shop attendant made our introduction unforgettable with a warm welcome.

The castle is amazing if you've never seen an exhibit highly recommend if you have, it's still a very unique experience. The interior is practically spotless and taking your time to enjoy the information on the walls is an experience in of itself. I highly recommend it for those looking for a date or just to explore. Personally have never seen so much turquoise. It was a fun experience especially because of the Gift shop owner. He let us check everything out that we were interested in and was very informative. They sell mystery boxes atthe gift shop as well and I found it as a great way to experience the trip due to such a huge collection. We opened our mystery box right after and walked away with sleeping beauty turquoise and a turquoise Blue Gem nugget.

The most memorable for me was the beautiful turquoise chandelier and the science area. The museum in itself was fabulous as was the curator!

Really wanted to see the museum

    Patti_M, Aug 2022
I never went in to the museum. It’s in a very sketchy part of town. The doors are locked right until 10 minutes before your designated time and I can see why, there were people just hanging around that appeared to be on drugs and a woman asleep on the ground of the parking lot. I came early to visit the cafe and it was closed 2 years ago. I didn’t feel safe waiting in the parking lot so I left.

    Great Experience

The beautiful jewelry. The antiques. The history. The beauty of the museum. The different types of turquoise

    Exceeds expectations

It was more interesting and beautiful than I thought it would be. Not too boring for a museum. I liked the hands on activities

    Waste of time

    Anasuya_K, Sep 2021
Not a lot to see - could have been anywhere. Maybe would have been better with more interaction which we had at the end. The people who work there are really nice though. They should have a better selection of jewelry to buy at the end.

The South West exhibits. The address on Viator was totally incorrect, we had to Google it to find out how to get there.

Meeting Joe Dan and listening to the history of the museum and family. Turquoise fan here. Beautiful beautiful interior! Hope to come back for balloon fiesta time and enjoy the festivities offered at the museum.

My two girlfriends and I enjoyed the class and the exhibit so much! We all learned more about turquoise and where it is found than we thought. Very informative. I recommend this place 100%. The lunch at your cafe was excellent too! Very friendly bunch! Will go back!

    A Must See

My friend and I took the tour and class. Both were very enjoyable and educational. Jacob was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions professionally and with a bit of humor—family history included. The castle is exceptional as are the exhibits. Making plans to take my husband and view the test of the exhibits. The gift shop and cafe are a very nice addition. Definitely recommend!

Turquoise, more turquoise, and then some!

A 21st century built two story residence made to look like it was built in the 19th century, full of beautiful antique furniture, display cabinets, chandeliers, antique wood flooring, winding grand staircase, and something made of turquoise everywhere you look. Much beauty and history can be found here.
