Please note our Segway tours operate on the Airlie Beach mainland area, if you are holidaying at an island resort you will need to make your own way, via the ferry to Airlie Beach. We had such a great time. Zac was very patient, he took the time to make sure we were confident on the segway before starting the tour.
Half way we stopped at a creek and were provided with homemade cakes and fruit. Everything was lovely!

Zak was a great leader for the tour. He instilled confidence in us all and made the morning really fun. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest and attentive to our needs.

Wonderful trip into the rain forest, at a lovely no rush pace. Expertly guided by Zak. Just twenty minutes out of Airlie Beach, but could be a million miles away. Managed to see two snakes. One live, one dead. Four or five sizeable Lizards. And some beautiful butterflies.
A great morning.
A little bit of coaching beforehand to make sure all is safe, and a small snack for the halfway point.
On a super hot day, the shade of the plants each side of the track will help keep you cooler.

Great morning in the forest with our guide Zak! Tasty lunch box prepared by Zak's wife. Sitting cushion was supplied for sitting while having coffee with our brunch.

There was maintenance on the rainforest trail so we didn’t go there, but were offered the boardwalk tour instead. This worked well for us. Zak was a great guide and shared history and current info about Airlie Beach. Having never rode a Segway before I was a little intimidated at first but had the hang of it by the time we finished. Highly recommend this tour. We had a great time.

What a great morning out in the rainforest with Zak guiding us! Picked up from van park, and all segway practising done first with Zak making sure we all felt confident before starting. Zak knowledgeable about the area also, with almost 12 years in business. An amazing snack box supplied for each of us,too! Many thanks to Zak's wife, who freshly baked the brownies and muffins ( plus we got an apple,and a fruit n nut mix tub, water,and a tea or coffee!)
Would highly recommend for a fun morning out!

We had so much fun on our first tour in Dec 2025 we had to take family this tour.
Zac is an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and also funny .
We all had a ball we didn’t see a huge amount of wildlife but we saw some lace monitors, smaller lizards, birds and butterflies
The forest is so beautiful and would highly recommend to everyone!.

We had a fantastic tour with Zak, he is very patient and informative. Loved the stop off at the creek at the half way point where we could dip our toes in the cool water while having a coffee and a snack.

My husband and I booked this tour on a whim because we thought it looked fun. Boy were we wrong! It was not fun it was an ABSOLUTE BLAST! The group was small enough to be really personal. Zak was our guide and he was phenomenal!
His knowledge of the Conway National forest and the Arlie Beach itself was unparalleled. He shared his local knowledge and the history of the Island & where things are. He was so patient as we each learned to ride the segways. I was pleasantly surprised to find how sturdy and stable they are. He immediately made us feel very comfortable. We took a 4.7 km ride Into the forest benefited greatly from his knowledge. He had a refrigerated box for each of us with brownie and a muffin, apple, and some trail mix and cold bottled water which was greatly appreciated in a hot Rainforest). It was such a touch. We had so - - - much - - - fun and I can't recommend record Zak and this tour enough.

Zak runs his business like clockwork. Very professional and informative. Focus is on safety and having fun too. You need to pass the training test before you hit the trails with the group. I was a nervous beginner but his patience and excellent instructions meant I was so confident and hit the trails with no problems. Zak is very knowledgeable of the area after spending 8yrs on the job, we stopped to rest and listen to his talk about the rainforest and its inhabitants. We saw frogs and bush turkeys and remnants of where feral pigs have dug holes. We walked inside a strangler fig tree, and Zak took photos for everyone. You cannot use your mobile phone whilst riding the segway. Both hands are needed for balance and steering. Zak offers to post photos on the Facebook site of his footage for us later. Morning tea stop was great. His partner makes all the food and the bottled water is welcoming. I would highly recommend this activity in the Whitsundays. Zak’s company is the only one running it. Definitely worth the money. We will be back to do it again.
