Very enjoyable day with our tour guide Anis. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Berber lunch was fantastic. Gave us plenty of personal time never felt rushed. Showed us some lovely shops and views. Highly recommend

I booked the tour through Viator and received a confirmation email and ticket for a 8.30 am the following day. When the tour operator did not turn up I contacted the company at 9.0O am and was told the vehicle was picking up other passengers and would only be five minutes. At 9.45 am I again contacted the tour company and was told that there was no booking for me that day on a 4 x 4 wheel desert tour and camel ride, but I was booked for the following day. The day I was due to fly home. They offered a full refund but it was a rather disappointing way to spend the last day of my holiday.

Disappointed from the very start, with crowed uncomfortable cars! No desert...only what seemed like a man made 'Mini Sahara' with no sand dunes or off road driving as depicted in the pictures. The camel ride was like a kids pony ride at a petting zoo. We did get to see a camel eat a plastic bottle which was interesting. There were many pitstops to see 'Moroccan culture', though no explanation as to what they did and an expectation to buy from these shops. We had no idea what we were looking at any of the stops other than what we could guess. Lunch was subpar compared to our experiences with Moroccan cuisine, and definitely wasn't at a Berber house as advertised. We had lunch a day prior with a Berber family in their home and it was infinitely tastier and informative. Our 'tour guide' who gave us very little knowledge or guidance for day, cut the trip short without notice and left out the city of Tiznit. Avoid this tour, and all tours with similar descriptions all scams

We were to meet the guide outside the port in Agadir. He wasn't there. I called and he was surprised we still expected him because I hadn't responed to him on What'sAp the night prior. Being on a slow internet on a cruise ship, I hadn't received his message. He should have known we were expecting the tour as I hadn't canceled. He arrived in a small 4x4 with two large people already inside. That made 6 of us in a way too small car! We told him we needed to be back by 4 as we got into the car. He took us to two commercial stops, two viewpoints and drove all the way to Tiznit. We reminded him of our time to be back to the ship. He was surprised (had forgotten, apparently) and simply drove through town without letting us out of the car. We'd suffered crammed into the small vehicle for nothing! The camel ride was one tour around a track similar to a pony ride that took about 10 minutes. The tangine at lunch was good. The guide didn't provide any information along the way - only a few comments when we stopped at viewpoints. Overall we had a miserable day.

Fantastic day! Loved the camel ride! Lunch was delicious! Our tour guide Abdul was great! He took pictures of us with my camera all day. We would definitely recommend this tour!
