Surf’s up in the sand!

Our 19 year old boys had a great time, learned something new and made a new friend with the surfing instructor. We had a great time going along and watching them. It was spectacular to see the picturesque cliffs meeting the ocean with the sand dunes. Watch out for the camel poop!

Definitely a highlight of our trip to Agadir. Abdullah was super chill and a great teacher, flexible and encouraging. There are hills for all skill levels so nobody was left out. A bit scary at first to be sure, but falling in the sand really doesn't hurt and having a good tumble turned out to be my favorite part of the experience. Highly recommend!

Unique and Fun Experience

Sand Surfing was a difficult, but fun experience! The scenery is beautiful out near Tamri (where the sand surfing takes place), with the dunes going right up to the Atlantic Ocean. Remember to bring water, as trekking up the sand dunes is much more strenuous than a normal hill. Our guide, Rachid, was excellent and very friendly. He helped my wife and the other women carry their boards up the dunes, was great at teaching us how to do it, and gave us ample time to explore the scenery as well. On the way back, we stopped in the village of Tamri where Rachid bought each of us a bundle of the locally grown bananas, which were excellent. I can’t recommend this enough, as it is a super unique activity hosted by great people. 10/10

Booked the activity for me and my partner staying in tagazhout. They were very informative and took a bunch of great videos and pictures for us to remember the day. It was a very fun and enjoyable experience:) they were very kind helping us carry our bags and were really patient teaching us how to sandboard, after many attempts and with their help we finally got it! We had a great time sand surfing - the guys were patient and kind and took lots of photos. They picked us up at the agreed location and we made our way to the dunes and had lots of time to practice and try different levels. Highly recommend!

Musapha & Abdullah (sorry if I spelt your names wrong!!) are two of the loveliest guys in Morocco. It honestly felt like we were sandboarding with a couple of close friends! Cannot put a price on the hospitality they showed us and I hope to cross paths again with them in the future. (I tried to upload the picture of the four of us but kept getting an error!)

Absolutely recommend this trip to everyone! We spent the day with our friendly guide Mustafa, who drove us along the coast from Agadir to Tamri. He showed us lots of hidden gems and surf spots along the way. Sand boarding on the dunes, was a thrilling experience, in such a beautiful location. Mustafa and his team were great fun and very encouraging, even to complete beginners like us! Afterwards, we were welcomed into Mustafa’s home, where we met with his family and were offered traditional food. A truly unique and special day, we won’t forget!

This was such a fun experience Hassan, Mustafa, and Lili were great and caring! They showed us so many things along the way to the dunes. I will say this activity is not for the weak. You will be tired after walking up the hills but it is so worth it. Just go with an open mind and you'll have a great time they take such good care of you.

Schöner Trip entlang der Küste. Essen war sehr lecker in schöner Umgebung. Sandboarding war klasse. Super Ort. Schön ruhig Abseits des Trubels. Landschaftlich auch wunderschön. Vielen Dank an meinen Guide Samir der mir reichlich Informationen während des Trips gab.
