The most serious issue was safety. The driver was travelling at motorway speeds in the dark with very poor visibility due to a condensation-covered windscreen. The demister wasn’t set correctly, and my wife had to lean forward from the back seat to fix it herself. This was genuinely frightening for my family with children and completely unacceptable. No apology was offered. For the rest of the long motorway journey, we had to stay constantly alert and could not relax. The trip is advertised as an English-speaking guided tour. In reality, there was no tour and no guide — only a driver who dropped us off and picked us up with no explanations or guidance at any stop. The advert promises 4 stops in Marrakech, including the Bahia Palace (described as a must-see), which we did not visit. We were also told we would see goats in trees, which never happened. Despite being advertised as “free admission”, we were charged 300 DH to enter the Saadian Tombs. We have receipts and no refund for them as yet offered. We paid £356 for a guided tour for a family of 4 and did not receive what was advertised. Had this been honestly described as a driver-only service with extra costs, we would not have booked it. Not worth the price and not recommended.
