Couldn’t be bothered to take us to souk

Absolutely awful and have the cheek to reject a refund too. Tried to change the time I booked to merge everyone’s afternoon trip into 1 trip. Itinerary is a lie. We did not stop at the Marina, just drove straight through without even being able to put a window down to take a single picture. Kasba we only had 20 minutes but was more like 10 before we were put back in van. Guide was very disinterested and barely talked. At the end we were taken to a small market known as “cultural centre” but isn’t even marked on google maps. He tried to lie and tell us souk was shut and this simply was not true. He simply couldn’t be bothered to take us there and lied. I expressed how unhappy I was and he didn’t care and walked off. Didn’t tell us how much time we had. I immediately requested refund and they rejected on the grounds that I attended the trip. Safe to say I would not have attended if I knew. (I booked 2pm time slot on saturday)

Driver arrived 30 minute late, I was the only one on the tour and therefore assumed it would be tailored to my choice of itinerary, wrong! We spent all of 5 minutes at Casablanca, then 5 minutes outside a mosque before being taken to an argon factory. Despite me saying several times I’d rather give it a miss, I was marched inside, made to watch a video about how argon oil is made, then I’m given the hard sell. This was extremely awkward and uncomfortable, when I’m on my alone and felt forced to buy products I didn’t want. The sales person did not leave my side for one minute and constantly put products on my hands, then began putting others cream / oils onto my face & arms, even though I continued to say no thank you. Next I was taken to ‘ Alibaba’ best shop in town. No doubt the driver received a kick back from purchases, again I’m shadowed around a ceramic store, and had products thrusts upon me. When I put them down and said no, both the shop person and the driver began to repeatedly tell me how good the price was etc etc, again trying to force me to buy. Then after just one hour the tour was over! We didn’t go to places advertised, I was given no information about Agadir, I was made to feel uncomfortable the entire time and felt like I was only there to add to the drivers commission

Le site viator a été pour moi une découverte durant ce voyage à Agadir. ce site est vraiment top. Concernant la balade dans la ville d'Agadir, que je me dois de noter. C'est pour moi une déception, le guide est très chaleureux et gentil, mais il n'en reste pas moins un homme d'affaire qui va vous amener dans des boutiques pour qu'il puisse prendre un cash back sur les produits que vous pourrez acheter bien au dessus de leurs valeurs marchandes. C'est très dommageable. Il m'a vendu une balade en chameau qui est vendu sur le site à 20 euros, au moment de payer il m'a annoncé 900 dirham (90 euros), je trouve cela pas très respectueux et très contraire aux valeurs qu'il nous a partager pendant la visite notamment sur le vol, en connaissance de cause, en raison de sa gentillesse de son âge, il a 68 ans et n'a pas de retraite et aussi des biais cognitifs d'engagement, j'ai accepté de payer plus du double du prix. Mais par la suite, ça ne s'est pas arrêté là, à la descente de la balade, le chamelier n'avait semble t il pas eu sa commission et nous a donc demander de payer "ce que l'on veut", un peu dans le genre ce que donner oblige, c'est ce qui oblige à donner. J'ai beaucoup aimé Agadir car très reposant, mais cet aspect mercantile est désagréable. Je ne regrette pas cette balade, ni le reste mais cette habitude qui semble la norme est très éloignés de mon éthique de business.
