Abdel was a fantastic host and was very knowledgable about the food and answered many questions we had about Agadir and Morocco. The food sampled was delicious and we liked some of the dishes so much we ordered at a restaurant later on in our trip. Abdel chose hygienic places to eat and showed us around the Agadir souk while sampling great food. Lovely group of people on the tour was a bonus. Would highly recommend.

This food tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide Abdel was exceptional — he communicated clearly and always on time, which made everything smooth and stress-free. He shared his deep knowledge of Moroccan food and culture in such an engaging way that every stop felt meaningful and authentic.
Each dish we tried came with a fascinating story, and I walked away not just full, but with a true appreciation for Morocco’s rich culinary traditions. His passion for his country and its cuisine really shines through.

Our guide, Abdel, was exceptional from the start with excellent communication. We were picked up on time and visited 8 different food stops, some of which we would never have stopped at. Abdel, provided information about every stop and every dish we had and sent us details of every dish and recipes via WhatsApp along with the places we had visited. His attention to detail was excellent, with hand wipes, hand sanitizer and even mint chewing gum. He had clearly done his homework, and we had a great few hours with him. I would highly recommend this tour.

Abdel is very knowledgeable and explained the history behind each dish. There was plenty of food, at a leisurely pace so didn’t feel rushed at any point. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend. Would suggest doing this tour at the beginning of your trip here.

Information prior to and after the tour was excellent
It gave tour restaurants and food at each and afterwards we were sent the names of the restaurants, the dishes, and even the recipes

This isn't just a good tour, it's a way to meet new people and learn about the culture/history of Morocco.
Abdels communication prior and throughout the tour was amazing and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt included and has full stomachs by the end of the trip.
We tried food items that we would never have thought about trying if we had gone out for a meal and we were able to explore the Souk el Had with an experienced guide (which was needed as it was like a maze)
I don't want to spoil too much about what foods you will try but there is something for everyone - including vegetarians or people with allergies. If you're to book one tour for your trip to Agadir, make it this one as it's worth every penny.
Also do make sure you go hungry!

I have done a few food tours back in my time but Abdel truly created a masterpiece.
Firstly the level of attention to detail is outstanding. He shares his hotspot for wi fi convenience at all times, carries water and hand sanitizer for our comfort and is constantly reviewing himself the stops he chooses to keep the tour with the highest possible levels of quality. Truly his Sistine chapel, always working on it to make it better.
Now the reason why we’re here: the food. As mentioned above each stop has been carefully selected within the gentle chaos of Agadir’s Souk El Had to truly awaken all of your senses. Abdel brings a description of each dish with both historical facts and passion. Fantastically balanced options and we can honestly say that “a bit of everything” was deliciously enjoyed and you’ll truly get a feeling of Morocco in its beautiful gastronomy.
Lastly… the company! Abdel makes sure that the groups are up to 8 people so that the experience remains intimate and truly awesome! We were very lucky with the other couple that were in the tour (shout out to David and Nina and their passion for olives and coriander). But mostly… we had Abdel. His humble charm and clear passion for what he has created truly turns him into the most interesting tour guide we ever had. Don’t hesitate to book your spot! Worth it!!!!

If you only do one experience on your holiday in Agadir, this is the one to go for.
Abdel picked us up at the hotel, after already being in contact and sending us some information on what to expect.
We started at a lovely restaurant a few minutes away, where we enjoyed three delicious courses - none of which were on offer in the tourists restaurants on the promenade. This was followed by a tour of the souk - an experience in itself - enhanced by being guided by a local. We stopped many times to try different foods and drinks.
Abdel spoke very good English. He was very friendly and eager to share his knowledge. He was also keen to learn from us about British food.
The experience was due to last four hours, but Abdel happily extended it to almost six hours! It was our last full day in Agadir and it was great to finish our holiday with this experience.
Cannot recommend this tour enough. It was very reasonably priced.

We booked as a family with 2 children- 8 and 10yrs old. Abdel's warm and welcoming manner set the scene for the rest of our tour, which far exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic and we learnt a lot about Moroccan food, tradition and culture. Abdel made it fun and interesting for our children who really enjoyed trying new food and drinks along the way. We appreciate the time and effort to make this a memorable experience for us all..

Myself and my boyfriend did this tour on a recent holiday to Agadir and had the best time. Abdel has planned an amazing itinerary with opportunities to try moroccan cuisine which we wouldn't have risked trying before [am now a convert to fried sardines]. Abdel provides you with infographics and context to the dishes you are eating and doesn't skip on thoughtful details like buying fresh mint from the market for the tea/ giving you wet wipes to wash your hands after eating fruit. We spent almost six hours on this tour and had so much food that we didn't need to eat anything else the whole day so it's fantastic value for money. Thanks again

Pick up and drop off very prompt and comfortable. Amazing tour, well worth the money. Very well thought out and very friendly. Abdel not only teaches you about food, he also shares his knowledge of local history and introduces you to the souk. 100% the best food tour I've been on! He makes an effort with every single guest and is very welcoming and kind. He has thought of everything, and the food cards with the information on provided are a perfect added touch. A must do in Agadir.

Spent an amazing afternoon with Abdel on our Agadir food tour! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable, Abdel provided a well paced tour with multiple food stops and many dishes which he took time to tell us the background, traditions and ingredients of each dish. Portion sizes were plentiful allowing a good (& filling) tasting experience. Dishes were traditional and varied from starters, mains - meat, fish, chicken, tagines to drinks, fruit, yogurt and cakes (not giving too much detail as don't want to give any spoilers). Abdel's relaxed, unrushed and clear approach, with his well organised itinerary made this a very enjoyable tour. I've done quite a few food tours during other trips in various destinations and this has definitely been the best one to date. The follow up information for the dishes we tried are very helpful and much appreciated...not sure my attempts to recreate them at home will be so tasty, but will have fun trying! He also shares informative Morocco facts and we loved the souk part which is a mini tour in itself. Also enjoyed it being a smaller group size so got a chance to get to know our other tour couple too. A truly lovely afternoon Abdel, thank you so much. Abdel was a graphic artist in a previous life and he provided us with details about the food we ate nothing was too much bother . Started at a very nice local restaurant and ended in a Atay cafe in the Souk really diverse and interesting

What a day!!
Abdel is an amazing tour guide, he very knowledgeable and insightful, teaching us about the rich history of Agadir and showing us all the incredible hotspots for local authentic Moroccan food.
This is a great excursion if you’re a BIG Foodie. At no point did we feel like we were rushed or hassled, Abdel is very relaxed and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and stress free.

Absolutely fantastic tour. Lasted 4 or 5 hours visiting different restaurants and places in the souks. Was a small group tour so very personal, and easy to discuss each item with each other. Abdel was a brilliant host, so friendly, professional and informative. We had loads of information on the history of places as we walked as well as background info on each dish, what kind of meals they are used for, which foods would be eaten as celebrations, how foods are sourced etc. All of this aside the food itself is exceptional, my favourite was the chicken bastilla and aubergine dips. there are 14 or 15 items/meals to try and we were so full by the end we didn't have dinner that evening, or breakfast the next day! Abdel also provides water, wifi, pick up and drop off, recipe cards for all of the items we tried and checked in with us before and after the tour. Honestly could not recommend this trip enough. Exceptional value for money and a great day out!

Abdel has been a fantastic guide during this tour and he designed the food journey in such a way to showcase the best of Moroccan cuisine. The tour is well structured and rich of amazing dishes from savory ones to desserts. He took care to create a journey for his guests, providing information, pictures and recipes cards for future reference. He is also very knowledgeable over the history and facts of Agadir and full of interesting stories to share. He is a great guide and great fun to spend time with. I loved this tour as I was able to go to places I would not have gone by myself and try foods I never had before, way beyond cous cous and tajine. Abdel was so kind to run the tour with just myself and spent more time than needed with me to make sure I arrived at the end of this Moroccan food marathon. He also picked me up and dropped me off at the hotel! I would advise anyone interested in Moroccan cuisine, first timers and foodies to take this tour as soon as possible, you will not regret it! Thank you Abdel for the great experience and for the best food tour I ever had. I hope one day to lead you through the wonders of my city as well. Advise to everyone, skip breakfast or you will not arrive to the end as I did (the last items I had to take away 😅)

Abdel is an easy-going lad and by far the best food guide I have had among all the places I have been too - he arranges for a cab pickup and is very well coordinated. Pays a lot of attention to your dietary needs and ensures you stuff yourself more than what you bargained for! I really hope Abdel runs this for years to come and converts into an establishment cause no one does it as well and personalized as him. This is definitely not like the touristy crap you see in Europe.

This tour with Abdel is an absolute must when visiting Agadir. Abdel makes it feel like you are visiting a friends city, and they are showing you all the best secret spots where the locals eat. Me and my partner felt completely safe and looked after by Abdel, so that we could truly enjoy the whole experience. I honestly can't communicate how good this tour is. Try it for yourself and then you will know what i mean. Best food tour ever!!! P.s make sure you go on an empty belly
