Better than a large group Tour but guide could have been better prepared. She didn't know the answer to some easy questions like what the population is. She didn't know when some places we visited would be open. It would have been nice if she stopped and pointed out photo opportunities. Otherwise the tour was well paced and covered as much of Aarhus as we wanted. She was very personable.

Good way to get to know Aarhus if you aren’t staying several days. Communication with Viator was confusing because several WhatsApp messages received from phone numbers that looked suspicious and no notification sent by Viator about changing the guide. In the end we managed to figure it out, but this could have been done much better

Our tour guide was Makhin and she was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable of the history. She also took her time as we have some slow walkers in our group. Would definitely tour with her again.

The day before the tour our "guide" Kate contacted me to confirm meeting point and time. Kate says she is "not a real guide " but does this when she has time.
In the morning we get a text from Anish, that he will be our guide. Anish says he does a tour once a month. This was to be a 5 hour walking tour. It became apparent in the first few minutes that Anish didn't have time to prepare for the tour, as he didn't know what time sites opened. He kept looking on his phone for directions or information. After 2 hours of walking around aimlessly with very little being said, I ended the tour. I don't blame the "guides" I blame the tour company for not properly vetting the people they hire. This was a complete waste of our vacation time that we can never get back.

In an effort to ensure you still had the experience you were looking forward to, we reassigned the tour to Anish. We came to explore the city for our daughter, who had applied to Aarhus University. The guide was briefed to show places students would frequent and to create excitement for our daughter. We were not impressed. Granted, it was raining that day, and many shops were closed. Still, the tour was not well executed, and this is especially true in retrospect. We now know Aarhus a little bit better, and we now know of all the great places that students can go and enjoy Aarhus—what a beautiful city!

We enjoyed our informative 4-hour walking tour with Anish. He showed us all around downtown and a comfortable pace. We went to many places we would not have found on our own, including the rooftop bar with views all over town. His English is good. We spent part of the time at a coffee break talking about Aarhus and Denmark generally and its culture from his point of view, which was especially fun. We would recommend him to anyone.

We were surprised at the size of the city of Aarhus. Our private guide, Makhin, knew a lot about the area and planned a big loop that included everything we wanted to see, including pointing out some areas that we could go back to on our own. She even brought us brochures on the places we went and some local chocolates. We were very satisfied and would book this tour again. Beautiful city with much to see.

Anish was a really good guide, providing good background to the city and places to visit. Covered all sides from the new developments to the old city. He tailored the tour well to the things we wanted to explore and the street food market is well recommended.

Riccardo was my guide and I enjoyed his insight into the culture religion and the Dane’s behavioural patterns keeping the history of the area in mind . It was a great afternoon , don’t expect great buildings or breathtaking sights but if u enjoy to learn something about the smaller and finer details of Arhaus and Denmark in general this is a tour to do

We were able to see everything up close. Our local guide told us about each area of the city and escorted us around so we could then enjoy the city more on our own. We enjoyed the art and history in and of the churches
