What are people saying about Venice

Barbara and Martha were...
Barbara and Martha were both fantastic, passionate and engaging. The tiramisu making process was explained precisely as was the making of the pasta. A great and rewarding experience with the ability to share the experience with other travellers. A must do in Venice!

Amazing Time!
We booked this experience last minute, and could not have been happier. Tulia was our chef of the day, we immediately connected and felt like family! We learned, and laughed! Absolutely the best, best time, and our food was delicious! I highly recommend.

Excellent cooking experience!
Matilde has found her calling!!! This amazing and energetic chef is a burst of energy and incredibly passionate about her work. She invited us in like we were instant friends. All smiles, laughter, and fun, she’s also talented in the kitchen and happy to share veteran Italian cooking techniques. We made the dough and learned to make fettuccine and two kinds of ravioli along with two sauces. We also watched Matilde make traditional gelato with a machine, which we shared for dessert. Only 6 participants, it’s the perfect small-group cooking activity. Highly recommend, especially because the chef is so wonderful.

I can’t say enough good...
I can’t say enough good things about Massimo! Truly felt like going over to a friends house for dinner (a friend who is a really great cook I will add). He made sure to plan a meal that allowed us to try new things with local, Venetian ingredients. He also gave us lots of good tips for cooking various dishes which we are excited to try again. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a lovely night! Highly recommend, this will be the highlight of your trip.

Its cultural and artistic treasures notwithstanding, Italy is a first and foremost a country for foodies. Eating might as well be a national pastime, and it’s one that visitors and residents alike enjoy. To take eating well to the next level, there are dozens of Venice cooking classes to choose from during your stay in the canal city. Shop with a guide in a Venetian market and learn to make Italian staples like fresh pasta or risotto. You can even make some cicchetti, the traditional Venetian small plates locals love to nibble along with a glass of wine.
