10/10 day trip! (Salvo is the best guide EVER)

First off, our guide Salvo was absolute perfection! He was so welcoming, kept everyone’s safety priority #1, and made sure we all had the absolute best time while giving us awesome flexibility. A few helpful notes for future travelers: -Logistics: The meeting point was easy to find, and the tour company sent super helpful text and email updates leading up to it. -The Drive: The drive to Mt. Etna takes about an hour and gets very winding. If you're prone to motion sickness, definitely bring medication! I don't get motion sickness all that often and it was rough for me, even. -The Hike: We’re mid-30s and fairly fit, but the altitude hit us harder than expected, so we opted to sit out the main Mt. Etna hike (we heard it was pretty tough!). There were easier alternative options available, but we decided to take it easy due to the elevation. Even with the bumpy start, the rest of the day was magic. Lunch in a charming small town was a massive highlight with incredible views, amazing local tastings, and a fantastic little spot. Afterward, Taormina was gorgeous! It was a scorching day, so we spent a lot of time relaxing in the shade of the public gardens, but the coastal views, shopping, and sights were unreal. Despite the rough drive, this was a total 10/10 experience! Salvo was super knowledgeable, and we loved having the freedom to take photos and explore at our own pace.

If you’re even thinking about booking this tour—do it. It was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable days of my entire trip to Sicily. From the moment we left Trapani, everything was perfectly organized. Mauro our boat captain made everyone feel welcome, and you could tell he genuinely wanted us to have an incredible experience. As we approached Favignana and Levanzo, I was completely blown away by the color of the water. Pictures don’t do it justice—it was the most beautiful turquoise blue I’ve ever seen. Favignana was absolutely charming. I loved wandering through the town, enjoying amazing food, and taking in the laid-back island atmosphere. Then came Levanzo, which felt like a hidden paradise. Every swimming stop was better than the last, with crystal-clear water that made you want to stay in the sea forever. The entire day was the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and breathtaking scenery. I made memories I’ll never forget and took some of my favorite photos from my entire vacation. If you’re visiting Trapani, this excursion is an absolute must. It gives you the chance to experience the true beauty of the Egadi Islands, and I can honestly say it was worth every single euro. I would book it again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable day on the water.

We had a wonderful experience! The sunset was absolutely beautiful, and the crew was incredibly friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome throughout the trip. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any dolphins, but that’s nature and not something anyone can control. We still really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina!

This tour is so worth it!

We had the best time doing this tour of mt etna! I went back and forth on if I should cancel it because we have 4 kids 8 and under and I am so glad I didn’t cancel!! We HAD the BEST time and our tour guide (Daniello). He could not have been more knowledgeable, caring and kind. He went above and beyond and it truly made our experience what it was. Volcanoes, Cascades and Pasta

Perfectly organised day. Experienced so much but it went so fast. The staff were friendly and relaxed. It was fun and ended with a beautiful swim in the cascades. There was quite a bit of walking which may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. (Wear good socks due to small volcano stones which sneak into socks and can be annoying).

Roberto was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable, very good English and very good sense of humour!! He really helped make to most of what was a very wet and murky day. Learned a lot about the volcano which the Sicilians clearly love - all very excited as it had just become quite active. Great wine with lunch. The gorge was a bit of an anti-climax. We loved this day outing! Our guide Mariarita was exceptional and shared information and made recommendations as we drove for various places to check out in the area. Gorgeous views of Mt Etna in Castelmola! Her guided walking tour in Taormina and at the theater was also enjoyable and engaging. She clearly likes what she does! Our driver, Lorenzo, navigated the crazy roads with ease. Heartily recommend this tour and Mariarita in particular.

Great Mt Etna tour

Lorenzo (our guide) was excellent. A safe driver and super knowledgeable about volcanos (not just Mt Etna). The tour experience on Mt Etna resulted in some rain, but no big deal. We had a great trip seeing Mt Etna up close. Lorenzo made the trip extra memorable. Thank you for a great experiance.

Lorenzo was absolutely fantastic and this tour was one of our favorite tours! Our experience going into the caves, stopping at local shops for tastings and the hike of Mount Etna were magical and unforgettable! Great snorkeling trip

Great snorkeling trip, saw lots of fish. Wetsuits were provided which was great because the sea was still cold in May. We had the boat to ourselves which was incredible. A private tour for the price of a shared trip. Location was easy to find, and Pepe reached out over what’s up the day of to confirm the meeting location. I would suggest to download whats up before the trip and also to arrive early. He took us to two locations and asked if we wanted to continue to the second location, or to just tour around on the boat. So just communicate your needs and expectations and he will accommodate.

Most memorable experience of my trip!

A remarkable Etna tour: walking among dramatic recent craters and real volcanic terrain was unforgettable. Our guide was exceptionally good, attentive and thoughtful, and paid particular attention to my safety as we hiked up the south side of the volcano.
