Amazing trip

We booked a shorter trip but the company had to change this and offered us the 4 hour trip including stops to Bellagio and Varrena. The trip was brilliant and the highlight of our weekend. Fabio was our captain and he really did make the experience an amazing one. Speeding across the water with music and prosecco alongside some facts about the lake and villages, what isn't to love. If you can request a captain, Fabio is your man!

Well worth the long day

Incredible coach journey, with great views of Lake Como and the surrounding countryside. The journey along the Maloja pass was an unexpected highlight for us. Plenty of time in St Moritz for a quick lunch before boarding the train. Great seats on the train with fantastic views, our guide was extremely informative about what we saw, her own love of the journey was evident as she spoke to us. Whilst this is a long day, it was well worth it for the coach journey and the train something we may never get the chance to do again.

Lake Come Day Trip from Milan (guided tour a must!!!!)

This tour is an absolute must! There is no way one could navigate the boats/ferries without skip-the-line tickets for all, and the guide getting us on in a timely manner. It was packed and people standing in line for ferrie tickets were turned away as it would get sold out. It was so nice to have Allesandro, our guide, do all the navigating for us from the train ride from Milan to the boat rides to Bellagio and Varenna. He even booked us a table for 5 in Bellagio before we got there, which was so nice to just walk up, sit at our table and enjoy! Also, it was nice to have him explain all about Lake Como and all of the different villas on the lake because you wouldn't know what you were looking at if he wasn't sharing the info as we were gliding along the lake. For example, he pointed out George Clooney's villa and the history behind it as well as a Russian oligarch villa, etc. He was an absolute perfect guide and made our Lake Como day trip a breeze. I wouldn't do Lake Como any other way!

Amazing day in Lake Como with a great guide

We had a fabulous day out with Amato as our guide. He was friendly, great with all the details, provided good practical information and made the day run smoothly. We had ample time at each stop and the skip the line tickets for the ferry were the best! Felt like royalty being ushered onto the ferries first. Loved that we traveled via train instead of sitting in traffic on the bus. A great day!

The meeting point changed from when I booked the excursion. We had not realized an email was sent a couple of hours before letting me know the pick up spot but that information did not change on Viators reminders or app. Luckily, we got booked for another trip a couple of hours later. The boat ride was great! Beautiful villas and only 2 other people were on our boat. It felt semi private.

Our guide Andrea was a delight! She’s a very poised young lady in a male dominated job. Our family of 4 were all really impressed by her knowledge and enthusiasm for Lake Como which comes from her family’s multi-generational roots there. We enjoyed hearing about her experience growing up on the lake in addition to all the famous houses, hotels, and landmarks. The chilled prosecco and cold beers capped off an incredible afternoon.
