Our Guide , was Camille ( MY) she was very knowledgeable about the history of Saigon , the war era , and all the main cities of Vietnam . We asked her many questions and she thoroughly explained everything in great detail . The tour was very informative because of Camille , who helped us understand many different aspects of what has occurred . She bought some books and her IPad to explain certain aspects more thoroughly . And later ,she assisted me with some local areas in Saigon too . I will highly recommend this tour and all that it encompasses about the history of Saigon . Great Experience

Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Plenty of water and fruit available, plus a croissant each. Very quick way to reach the tunnels with the added bonus of a lovely breeze and views of the day to day life on the Saigon river. The tunnels were a fantastic experience, which you could model to your own needs, whether you wanted to crawl through tunnels, shoot at the range( extra charge) or simply take in the fascinating history of Chu Chi. The lunch was simple and tasty; rice, chicken and vegetable soup, pork, omelette and a chicken stir fry. An added bonus was the included Tiger Beer( though of course other options available). Thank you for a lovely day.

A unique and enjoyable experience

Great way to get to all the tourist stops. The jeep is an authentic army jeep with enough room for the guide, the driver, and 2 passengers. Being in an open vehicle in the bustling traffic of Ho Chi Minh City is an experience in itself. Our driver Joe, and guide Mimi were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They even had a cooler of cold drinks which was wonderful to have in the tropical heat. A lot of fun.

Worth it

I booked the VIP international arrival package which included support out to the car. We landed at Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) on Monday 5 Oct at 10am, and the VIP fast track was definitely worth it. Only took 20mins from departing the plane, to walking out to the car (and that included waiting for our 2 suitcases to come out). I think we saved approx 45-50mins, which we appreciated after a long day of travelling.

Excellent tour with Max...

Excellent tour with Max who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history. Glad we opted for a half day and did not include the Mekong delta option. The travelling and traffic is the worst part, so half day was perfect. Hubby and I didn’t go through the tunnels but my 13 and 16 yo boys did- neither of us felt like we missed out as there was still so much to see. Cu Chi tunnel tour is a must for anyone interested in the American war.

Tuon is the best!

Our tour was with VietNam Adventure Tours, it was very easy to book on Viator and their communication and planning was excellent and professional. Our guide was Tuon, he is the best tour guide I have ever had. He was a veteran of the war and was very informative and always connected the information he provided to what it would have been like during the war. I learned a lot from him and have a lot of respect for him, he helped make this the most unforgettable adventure!

To skip the crazy lines def do it again.

It was helpful to get through immigartion and customs quicker. The process is a bit confusing and chaotic so can be overwhelming so this definately helped avoid those feellngs. It was not easy to find my guide though as they all stand in a line. My guide didnt speak English and had a tendency to run ahead so I felt as if I was keeping him from something else. What was a plus was taking me to my piller for my driver. I think i might still be looking for it if it wasnt for him. Would I do it again for the immigration and customs yes. If you have done the Thailand one they very different experiences though as in Thailand they had a specific agent who does it and fast track lanes. Not in HCM there are alot of different agents so you get a shorter albeit still a queue but not as long as the other queues. Im not sure why but I expected the airports to be alot more structured and ordered in Vietnam, not a chance. Strangely i felt calmer and more settled when I was with border security as that felt familiar as its the same world over.
