Top California Float Trips

The South Fork of the American River is the most popular rafting river in the western U.S.A... let us show you why! This trip features beautiful scenery, refreshing water, and information about California's Gold Rush history as we float through Marshall Gold Discovery State Park. We will also see local wildlife, including many birds which make the river surroundings their home. We allow kids from 4 years old to participate on this tour. If you are interested in trips with more exciting rapids for adults or adventurous people, please check out our half day guided whitewater trips. This is a gentle float with several small rapids which is a good option for novice rafters.

Paddle your way through California's flora and fauna on a whitewater rafting tour down the Truckee River—with a guide on-hand to provide help throughout. Begin with easy rapids as you pass by the scenery of the Tahoe National Forest, then build up to intermediate-level, Class III rapids and an exhilarating finish in the Floriston Gorge. On hot days, you can enjoy a swimming break in natural pools along the way.
