What To Expect

The experience begins at the Montresor Winery Museum in Verona, where a “virtual farmer” shares the evolution of vineyard and cellar practices. Learn about the winery’s deep roots and its connection to Verona, then continue to the barrique room to explore how each wine develops structure, complexity, and character as it matures.

Don't miss the sensory room, where you can test your nose in an interactive aroma game—identifying common wine notes including black cherry, cocoa, licorice, and floral essences.

After touring the museum and wine cellar, cap off the experience with a curated wine-tasting experience. Choose the classic tasting, which features five Valpolicella wines.

For a more exclusive experience, opt for the vertical tasting of Amarone, which includes five different expressions of Amarone DOCG. Discover how the wine’s body, intensity, and complexity evolve over time—uncovering each nuance, sip by sip, perfectly paired with local cured meats and cheese.

The tour ends at the museum, after which you're welcome to continue your sightseeing.

Amazing wine with a history

Karolina_Z, Mar 2025
Our wine tasting experience in Verona was absolutely fantastic! Not only did we get to sample a selection of exquisite local wines, but we also enjoyed a fascinating tour of the wine cellars. The visit provided insight into the history of the cantina, adding depth to the experience.

Great wine tasting experience!!

Charles_C, Jan 2025
Great experiences learning how the wine is made/processed and the history. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept our interests the whole time. The actual wine was also amazing, we could smell and taste the difference between all of them. The facility was also well maintained and all the staff were pleasant and courteous.

Nice but expensive. Wine prices to buy after the tasting were ridiculous

Michael_K, Nov 2024
It was nice, but tiny pours. Non of us were thinking it was worth the money spent. Sylvia was great by the way, except for the tiny pours...

Excellent tour and tasting

Really welcoming and informative tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and took us through a thoroughly enjoyable tasting which was paired with bread, cheeses and olive oil. Delicious wine which we are looking forward to drinking when we get home!

It was a really fun experience. They tell you the history of Montresor as you go through a museum and at the end you get to try some of their wines. Would definitely recommend.

Invecchiare con del buon vino!

Eleonora_C, Oct 2024
In generale ottima esperienza!!!
