Dave was an amazing tour guide. A great mix of history, sights, food and recommendations. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great insights. The tour was approximately 2 hours long. My husband and were with 3 other people in our group. We prefer small group tours and this was a memorable one.

This was an excellent overview of what San Sebastian has to offer and provides great ideas of the key 'must do's'. In addition it gave us an insight into the culture of the Basque people and an interesting history of San Sebastián and many of its buildings. I would definitely recommend as something to do at the start of a visit to the City. Dave was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the region and the whole walk was very enjoyable - thanks.

We found this experience so informative the history through to present day of San-Sebastian was told by Dave our tour guide in such detail, we had a full understanding of the events through history of this amazing city. We took time after the tour to visit some of the places we had encountered during the tour, including some of the famous Pintxos bars, they didn’t disappoint. Thank you once again to our tour guide Dave, his passion for the job certainly came through from the start of the tour to the end.

Met Dave for the tour as agreed, we were a little late, as Taxi's hit and miss from our hotel. He was super well informed on local history and good company showing us around the city. We really enjoyed it so much that we are already thinking about coming back to some of the festivals.

We loved experiencing a new city this way. Dave is lovely, passionate and knowledgeable. Our only regret is we did this towards the end of our stay, because not only will you have idea for activities, it will make you not want to leave. Dave is generous with his knowledge and his time. Dave was amazing! He was so informative and knowledgeable of San Sebastián in general. He welcomed questions and explained everything in detail. The kids kept engaged as well and even had umbrellas for us when it started raining. The tour felt like we were hanging with a friend. He did not walk too fast either. Definitely recommend a tour with Dave! We left knowing so much of the beautiful city.

David’s Walking Tour was one of the best ways we could have started our visit to San Sebastián. He brought the city’s history to life with fascinating stories, clear explanations, and a wonderful collection of old photographs and maps that helped us understand how Donostia has changed over time.
David was friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all our questions without ever making the tour feel rushed or overloaded with information. The small-group format made the experience relaxed and personal, more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local than attending a formal tour.
We also appreciated his recommendations for pintxos, local desserts, ice cream, and places to visit afterward. They helped us make much more of the rest of our stay.
We highly recommend taking this tour near the beginning of your visit. It gives you a much deeper appreciation of this beautiful city and the stories behind the streets, buildings, and landmarks you might otherwise simply walk past. This tour is a must to enrich your experience. Dave provides context to everything from the terrain and the architecture to the street art, and the dining scene explaining the history and life of Donostia with clarity and enthusiasm. His magic book of images and maps is very helpful. Highly recommend doing this your first day to help plan the rest. His recommendations on restaurants, pintxo bars, ice cream and the true Pastel Basque are much appreciated.

Great tour that was very extensive and well paced. He gave us an amazing gelato recommendation and spot to eat; both were spot on best gelato and dining we experienced while in San Sebastián. If you are looking for a tour of the city and suggestions of other things to do this is a must!
