This was a great pick up. We asked specifically for a sprinter because we had a group of ladies that have multiple bags of luggage and they gave us exactly that the driver was very nice and everything was clean and safe.

Rio Carioca subcontracted our booking to another tour operator. There was no mini van for the 4 of us thaT we had paid for. they spoke no English and kept motioning for us to wait. We are elderly; had travelled all night and we waited over 1 hour expecting another car or minivan to arrive, THE 4 OF US WITH LUGGAGE COULD NOT FIT IN THE SUV. We finally took taxis. I asked Viator for a refund and they said the tour operator refused to refund us our money. Shame on VIATOR and shame on RIO CARIOCA.

BEWARE FALSE ADVERTISING! They advertise a "private minivan transfer." The picture they advertise is a Sprinter van. I purposely selected this transfer because we are 2 adults with 6 suitcases and 2 backpacks. I TOLD them in advance how much luggage we had. They sent a small sedan (it was maybe a Renault Logan?). We were picked up 20 minutes late because we were looking for a minivan and didn't expect that the small sedan that was parked outside waiting was for us. We were charged $90 USD for a car the size of a small Uber, which would have been closer to $30 USD. We were SQUISHED. The driver was very nice and accommodating. It didn't seem to be his fault. He seemed surprised and upset, and he texted pictures of our luggage to his office. I have tried to make this right with the company but they are no longer responding to me.

Very Professional and pleasant Round Trip transfer from the airport to the hotel

It is very professional, a person greeted us with a banner at the airport and took us to our driver. the vehicle was nice and roomy to fit our luggage, the driver drove very well and arrived to the hotel in good time. Matheos was the driver who picked up us at the hotel to take us back to airport. he was very polite, he found us inside the hotel and help us with our suitcases. he also was a great driver and got to the airport with easy and on time. Everything was perfect the only reason i didn’t not give the 5 stars it is because I was expecting a bilingual driver to be able to talk and get some information. The driver were polite and friendly but we had the language barrier

Pick.up was ok but they sent a vehicle smaller than the picture. We specified we had 3 huge suitcases and it barely fit. They had a hard time closing the trunk. I was afraid half the time that it would pop.open along the way.Driver also was quite reckless. Not the best driver that we have had in all the years of using Viator. He got us there in one piece and on time so that's good enough, I guess. He was helpful though in getting us a trolley to get into the airport.

We went to the location we were told we would be picked up from and there was nothing there. So I needed to message the company just to find out where we really were supposed to be picked up. After I sent the picture up where we were the guy showed up and we were on our way. He was very personable and the car was very comfortable.

Bruna and her crew were no shows! On top of being a no show I found out that I paid three times as much, $90 each way, what it cost for this trip $30. When I arrived there was no one there to pick is up. I called Bruna and the call went to voice mail. So I was either scammed or the recipient of horrible customer service. As type this I'm still haggling to get my refund.

I did not use their service because they didn’t wait for me even though I send them a message saying the flight was delayed. It was an international flight and they knew we must pass through customs and missing bags issues, so they said it was a no show. What a stupid statement. My sister was waiting for me and my husband and told the lady that she was waiting for us. The flight was full and it’s normal to have our moments to grab our luggage etc. They didn’t have mercy.

Dangerous driver

The driver was punctual. We were picked up at 3:00 AM. The van was quite old. The driver was having difficulty staying awake and almost dozed off more than once. When he did wake up he was texting and driving the entire time. We almost got into an accident. I did not feel safe.

Great way to travel in Rio

If you have a large group this service is ideal. We rode in a beautiful sprinter van, and this is after learning that in Rio you can’t get an Uber XL. Very hard to find any car that will accommodate more than 4 passengers so this service is truly great and at a very reasonable price.

The most memorable experience was the wait and not getting what I ordered and paid for, a van! After arrival, we were met by a not so nice lady representative of your company that led us outside the airport where we waited. What arrived to take all four of us with 8 suite cases to the hotel was a small SUV. After waiting over an hour, we finall got two small SUVs to take each couple with suitcases to the hotel. The lady kept making different excuses about the van. The lady never apologized or tried to make us feel welcomed in to your counrty. I would not recommend your company to anyone! I would also suggest you get more expierenced personnel to meet and greet people who use your service! I know I will not use your service again until we all get restitution!
