The Taboo is the perfect catamaran for small group snorkeling and sightseeing! Flo and Meri were so friendly, helpful, and informative. We saw sea turtles and swam with blacktip sharks, stingrays, and a plethora of colorful fish! The scenery was beautiful. The pick up and drop off were on time, and communication prior to the tour was exceptional. We had the best day!

It was wonderful! The guide and captain (I think they rotate people for different days/events) were so knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and great to be around. The boat ride itself was fantastic - lots of fun areas to hang out on the boat, sailing felt very smooth. Great views and lots of opportunities to take nice photos. And the group we went with was so nice and great to get to know a bit! The snorkeling experience itself was beautiful, relaxing, and educational! I had the exact experience I hoped for - something relaxing, adventurous, immersive, and with great people.

Flor was great! Going between English and French for our group.. Going out early was great because it did get pretty crowded shortly after we arrived. Wonderful snorkeling spot that we wouldn't have seen on our own.
What an absolutely lovely way to spend our last day on Moorea - crew were fantastic! We were even so lucky to see whales! Highly recommend this tour, I can't see how anyone could possibly be disappointed

Great half day excursion. The two man team on board had great English and French, and brought us to an amazing snorkelling location before then bringing us to see some Stingrays and black tipped sharks. Would highly recommend.

This was the absolute highlight of our week on Moorea! We definitely recommend doing the early (7:25am) tour as it wasn’t busy at all at the spots we stopped - when we finished the lagoon was hectic.
We saw a turtle napping in coral, got up and close with rays and young sharks, had a magnificent swim in a coral garden and learnt about local history with the underwater statues. Our captain, Swan, and our guide, Louis were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They know the lagoon well, spotted all kinds of wildlife we’d never have known to look for, and kept a relaxed pace.
We left feeling happy, relaxed and thrilled to have seen such beauty in the wild. Looking back at the bay from the deck of a catamaran, drinking a mai tai and watching the clouds play about the mountain tops was an experience we won’t forget. Mauruuru!

Fabulous experience from the start. Received by Doris at the Marina and she drove us to the dock. The guide Jade was excellent in explaining things in both English and French. She was humorous and kept the journey lively. She was attentive to different needs and cared about all of us. The captain, I believe his name is Kai Nui was not just the captain but also the bartender. We were served fruit platter, pineapple juice, and cocktails and mocktails at the end of the journey. We stopped at three different places for various experiences. First to snorkeling around coral area, second was snorkeling with sharks and rays, and third was where there are tikis. Water was about 9 ft deep and we were given the snorkeling gears and fins. You can also ask for noodles if you’re not good with swimming like me.
It’s suggest this tour to anyone who wants to explore the area.

The boat only fits about 6 people, which makes it very personal and private. Scuba guide was very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend.

Very informative. Not necessarily appropriate for those with limited mobility; low clearance for seating area. Ladder access is good for sea entry. Doris, guide for excursion, was helpful in spotting the mantas and sharks for our snorkeling in beautiful Mo’Orea aqua waters. She showed us some underwater highlights of marine life and other things of interest. Local fruits and drinks were served. Amazing coral gardens snorkeling! You will not regret this excursion! I recommend the early morning tour; very warm water for swimming. Easier to see marine life with underwater snorkel videography. Doris had great communication prior to our snorkel tour. Don’t hesitate to book with this tour operator! We were cruise passengers and the pick up point (arrived by tender) was right at the Mo’Orea landing. Thank you for a great day of snorkeling!! 🤿🐠🐟🇵🇫

Excellent tour. The guys were friendly and the boat was clean. The food was a bit poor just some fruit and the cocktails were not great. The views are spectacular. On the last stop where there are statues in the sea it would have been easier if the guides had given us a talk about them before we got in the water. Some people struggled to tread water for that long and it was hard for everyone to hear.
Perfect mix of snorkel and sailing! Good fruit snacks and great snorkel locations. View was very friendly and had all the equipment you needed for a nice experiment.
We had a great experience with Taboo and crew even though the weather was so wet and windy. Both of us oldies got into the water on three occasions and saw the sharks the rays and lots of fish.
My husband and I were on our honeymoon and came across this experience, and we're so glad we did! It was an early start but worth it as our guide wanted us to hit our first stop before other tours arrived. We snorkled with stingrays and sharks and it was awesome! we also swam with fishes and learned about the undersea statues. Ended with a cocktail. Our guides were informative and friendly and the day was beautiful! This was also great for kids! Highly recommend this experience!!

Most amazing snorkeling! Bring a change of clothes in case it is a wet day but we had great weather even though rain was forecast. Our guide Louis and our captain were amazing! Couldn't ask for a better day. Always amazed at the amazing hospitality of the people in French polynesia! Not only is the scenery One of a Kind so is the service!
The snorkelling was good. The weather kind of came up rough towards the end of the tour, but overall it was a great way to spend the morning. We saw black tip sharks and some stingrays along with some cool little tropical fish and got to feed them bananas. Guides were great!
We had such an amazing time! Got to go to the best snorkeling spots and learned a lot about Moorea and the culture here. Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!!

Amazing. It was easy to find the pick-up spot, we loved how small the group was (7 total), and the guide was super informative. The boat had shelter, for those who didn't want to be in the sun, but we all enjoyed being at the front of the boat. We visited the rays and black tip shark area, a beautiful coral garden, and saw the fascinating sunken tikis. The whole tour was super safety conscious as well, for us and for the marine life. I was all around so very impressed and happy with this tour
Max and Louis did great job getting us to the best spots for snorkeling. Yes, we did swim with sharks and rays! Super informative about local history and culture. Only 8 on board so we all get time in the “net” during the tour. Highly recommend!
We had an awesome time on the catamaran taboo! We started off our day seeing a massive pod of dolphins! They took us to a few snorkel spots and saw sting rays, black tip sharks, tons of cool fish and even some tiki statues! They also served us fresh fruit, fruit juice, and mai tais! Overall I’d highly recommend taking this tour!
We were taken out in extremely strong winds.
With the conditions as they were we really think this trip should have been cancelled.
The sea was so choppy it made the visibility extremely poor. The whole experience was unpleasant due to the cold winds.
The trip was also cut short to 3 hours with no explanation. Yes it was cold and windy and totally uncomfortable but some compensation should have been offered considering this.
