Absolutely incredible experience. Really central location so easy to find. Experience starts with buying ingredients and then treated to mint tea demo before the cooking starts. Thorough explanation of all the steps and info and about ingredients with lovely tutors. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech, we are already planning our Moroccan dinner party!

This is an absolute must-do activity for all ages. Leila guided us through the entire process, from shopping at the local market to understanding the culture of traditional Moroccan food. Chef Khmisa made sure everyone was involved in the cooking process. There was a lot of laughter, fun, and great memories. Thank you very much — we learned a lot!

Excellent cooking class. Hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed walking through the market beforehand to pick up ingredients. Everyone was included in the cooking process and it was really fun to eat our finished dishes in a large group at the end. Overall we would highly recommend this to other travellers.

We met fellow tourists from other countries and we all marched off to the market and were each given vegetables to select for our taglines. We were given a welcome mint tea before food prep then we all chopped veg and added the spices. There was fun and laughter as we joined in and our head chef was light heartedly bossy! We then got to eat the food we made and it was the tastiest tagline we had during our 4 day trip!

Very nice class. We were well looked after and made a very nice 3 course Moroccan dinner. Going on the market and selecting the cooking ingredients first was also a nice experience.

Fun group activity buying ingredients for the meal, then preparing it under the guidance of two experts No one was made to feel uncomfortable or awkward Great personalities Didn’t get the older lady’s name but she was very sweet & overcame any language barrier! 🥰 The meal was very filling too & we were offered a QR code for the recipes (Which I haven’t received as yet but would like)

Learn to do a Tegime dish

A Moroccan cooking class which in the Medina. You go from the pickup location to the market to get the ingredients. Then you walk to a private house located in the Medina and cook a Tegime Dish. Ours was chicken tegime. Very simple, fun, would recommend!

This was such a fun experience — honestly one of my favorite things I did. We did the cooking class in someone’s home, which made it feel so personal and authentic. We made so many different dishes, and let me tell you… the food was AMAZING. Like real, authentic Moroccan cuisine — everything tasted so good. I’ve done a few cooking classes before, and this is definitely one of the best ones I’ve done. The whole experience was just fun, welcoming, and something I’d 100% do again. If you’re in Morocco, just do it. Don’t even think about it.

Experience was underwhelming. Host was nice, she translated for the chef - participants did some chopping around a big table. Food was quite good, but dynamic between participants wasn’t great which made for a lackluster evening.

Outstanding cooking experience in Marrakech

Outstanding experience. Meet up point was easy to find. Our guide was friendly, informative and spoke perfect English. We were paired with another family (9 people total). We usually do private experiences but I’m glad we didn’t. This was much more fun with a group. Even our teenage daughter to her surprise liked it! We all took part in the shopping in the market followed by the cooking. This was our first meal outside of the 5-star hotel we are staying at and was hands down the best food we’ve had so far in Marrakech. I highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely incredible. What a way to be immersed in the culture and meet people! We walked through the market and picked out produce before preparing our meal. We were in a group of 10 total, and everyone had an opportunity to help with the meal. While we prepared the meal, the chefs talked about the different ingredients and spices. When we finished preparing the main courses, we enjoyed the starters and were able to pour our own tea, the Moroccan way. We made zaalouk, caramelized carrots, tomato salad, potato salad, chicken tagine, and vegetables with chermoula sauce. During dinner, we shared stories with the others around the table. After the class, we were sent recipes for everything we prepared. We are looking forward to making a traditional Moroccan meal for friends!
