Your first stop in Ubud is the ever-popular Ubud Monkey Forest, an Indiana Jones landscape thatâs home to bands of roving macaques. Your driver/guide will show you how to interact with them safely.
Next, head to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, one of Ubudâs most beautiful rice-field landscapes. Just a little further north, fill up your camera roll with a quintessential Ubud experience, a jungle swing, then have lunch overlooking the forest.
After lunch, go deeper into Balinese culture when your driver/guide introduces the sacred springs of Tirta Empul Temple. Your final stop before your driver drops you back is the spectacular Tegenungan Waterfall, a roaring 50-foot (15-meter) cascade set amid lush forest.

It was an amazing day! We got to see so much! Our tour guide Gede was amazing. He was knowledgeable about Bali and the Culture! The trip was well paced, we didn't feel rushed at all. Our guide Gede was very well informed about every stop and was more than happy to answer questions. He made sure we were safe at all times, always pointing out trip hazards and helping my wife up and down steps.
Between stops he kept us entertained with bits of wisdom about Bali and constantly pointed out interesting sites. He also has a very good sense of humour and is an excellent photographer.
The traditional Bali house was very interesting and informative; it gave us a good insight into how the Balinese live outside of their interaction with us tourists.
The Monkey Forest is wonderful. Gede was at home with the monkeys and managed to get some very good poses from them!
The rice terrace is spectacular. Wonderful views across a valley garden.
Then off to lunch. I have had many tour lunches which usually consist of a cheap and cheerful buffet. This one was nothing of the kind. Very impressive. It also comes with the chance to go on a swing, not for the faint hearted but good fun.
After lunch it was onto the temple. Gede came into his own here, with some great knowledge of the history of the temple.
Lastly, it was on to the waterfall. Great views above and below. Lots of steps, but again Gede made sure we were ok.
Thoroughly recommend and many thanks to Gede for taking us.

We had a private tour with Guna and four friends. We were able to adjust the time to meet our scheduling needs and see many sites at times when there were less tourists. Everything was customized to our interest. The lunch spot was a special highlight and Guna also knew all the monkeys by name!!

Absolutely amazing private tour! Gaday was so knowledgeable, no matter what I asked, he had a thoughtful answer to every question we had during our Ubud tour - about the waterfalls, coffee, woodworking, and especially the monkey forest. My favorite part about the tour was getting to see the monkeys up close, we took pictures with Gaday's help that we will cherish forever. Tour is nicely paced and we never felt rushed. We had an awesome trip with Murdock. It felt like we got to see so much in one day with tonnes of variation. The jungle swing was definitely a highlight, as was the monkey forest and the coffee and tea sampling.
Murdock knew his stuff and went at our pace throughout the day.
I also feel like Murdock deserves an extra shout-out as one of the monkeys in the forest stole my sunglasses and he went in and got them for me, they are prescription glasses so he is a lifesaver!

This was the most incredible experience. While it was a very long day as traffic in
Bali is awful, it was well worth every minute. Each stop was more magnificent than the previous one and our guide, Yogakamareka was the best. He was so knowledgeable, funny, and the best photographer ever. We truly loved our day with him and would highly recommend this full day excursion

Our driver Komong Godoh was excellent and provided us a great day exploring Ubud. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting commentary and knowledge of the area over the course of our day. He also went out of his way to ensure the lunch restaurant provided a special dessert and flowers to celebrate my wifeâs birthday. Highly recommend this tour for an action packed fun overview of Ubud hot spots as well as Komong as a tour guide.
