Unsafe charter

There were no flotation devices or life vests offered. We had to swim 15 min to get to the beach and then swim against the current to get back to the boat. There was a dingy but was not ever offered. It was listed in the add that we would disembark at lunch time to walk around and eat lunch etc however that never happened. There was no safety briefing at the beginning. The catamaran was quit small for the amount of people and it felt claustrophobic. Most importantly there was a medical emergency and the captain refused to take us back to Ibiza. Instead we had to take another dingy with some random stranger back to formentera, find the ferry, and take a 30 min ferry back. All the while we were so sea sick we could barely stand. There was no Dramamine, sprite or any thing to help with the sea sicknesses. I just feel the charter was ill prepared and unsafe. Thank you.

Thank so much for your feedback. We're so sorry you were seasick the whole time on our shared excursion with other guests! When one gets seasick the best thing to do is disembark to the closest point on land. For this reason we promptly helped you disembark in 5 minutes (with a professional tender that is contracted by one of the nicest restaurants in Formentera) at the port of Formentera so that you could recover. This was the safest option instead of sailing back 1h30min back to Ibiza where you would be even more ill. It is against Spanish law for captains to administer pharmaceutical drugs to passengers. If one is prone to motion sickness, we always recommend they prepare with foresight knowing they will be navigating all day. We always recommend for our clients to make a reservation for lunch in Formentera ahead of time since in high season restaurants get super booked. All of our shared charters include a stop for lunch, but of course if there was no reservation made, that is out of our hands as restaurants in Formentera do not allow 3rd parties to make reservations - as warned repeatedly. Also, complying again with Spanish law every single one of our boats come equipped with 12 emergency life jackets, and normally even more because we have some extra kids ones on board too incase people come with their families. The emergency flotation ring is also on board as you can see in every single one of our pictures. There is also a medical kit, but again it does not contain pharmaceuticals as we're not allowed to administer them. We have a super convenient dingy on board for embarking and disembarking clients, but of course this is an auxiliary boat and only used for this purpose. We do not offer it for water sports or for playing on. Safety briefings are given upon signing the contract for every single charter. Again, as we said before, we're sorry you were seasick the whole time! We would love to make it up to you so please reach out to our office so we can compensate you for any trips in the future. Nice but overpriced

Friendly captain and crew but unfortunately for the price you would expect even a bottle of water to be included or even ice for the beverages, Very bad amenities on board not, it even toilet rolls in the toilets or water to wash your hands. I’ve been with other companies and no comparison whatsoever.
