Sergio was a pleasant & knowledgeable tour guide. He is not originally from Finland but has lived there for many years. Porvoo has an interesting history and has wonderful old wooden buildings along the river.

Bus ride to Porto. Our guide was Sergio. He provided a lot of information about the town. Very relaxed walk through the town. One hour of time on our own was a little too long though.

Very knowledgeable guide…knew the history of the area and was able to answer numerous questions. Sergio had a Great personality that added to the experience. Old Town was wonderful and suggest everyone make a visit there.

I enjoyed the tour. The guide was nice. I didn’t have the chance to visit the museum or the church because they were closed. The river was completely frozen so I didn’t see the full beauty of it.

Sergio is a very knowledgable, warm and patient guide. We were on the tour with kids and they had a lovely time, he was very attentive and responsive to the kids and had answers to all our questions. We absolutely loved the first half of the day spent on the Porvoo & Riverside Old Town Heritage tour. He went out of his way to help us plan the days in Helsinki and address scheduling issues.

Great tour. Sergio was very knowledgeable and a fun tour guide. This tour leaves from Helsinki on a public coach bus which is nice, clean and has a bathroom. The bus fare is included in the tour price. The ride is less than an hour. It rained on us so bring an umbrella as it is mostly outdoors. Lots of little shops with local crafts and trinkets for sale. There is a fair amount of walking with a couple of small hills over cobblestones. Sergio gave us an hour and ten minutes of free time in Por Voo to eat, wander and shop. I went to an Irish pub and talked to some locals.

Porvoo was an amazing town with the cathedral and being the highlight.

The tour was simply not worth the money. I had assumed we would be going by private transport, but we just got on the public bus to Porvoo. Then we got a two hour tour of Porvoo and were on our own for the last bit. Save yourself some money and take the bus to Porvoo yourself and then hire a local guide for a couple of hours.

What a fabulous tour of Old Porvoo today. Tour Guide, Sergio, was excellent and his knowledge of the area and his passion for the history of Helsinki was commendable.
