This was one of the best things we did during our 4 week trip to Spain, Italy, and Greece. Stephania and Stephania were great teachers and so much fun! Working together and getting to know the other “students” was the best part, and the drinks certainly didn’t hurt any as we made our tagliatelle together! The food, the wine, and the laughs made this a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to make our spritzes and pastas at home.

Food was fabulous Luca and Cate were sweet and knowledgeable. Had a lot of different drinks. We didn’t make the ragu but it was outstanding! Would definitely recommend
This was an awesome class, the instructors were top notch, funny and very knowledgable. our first stop in Bologna.

Starting your Bologna adventure with a fun, hands-on cooking class? Now that’s a good first stop! 🍝 We’re so happy our instructors made the experience enjoyable and shared their pasta-making know-how with you. Hope Bologna treated you to plenty more delicious moments!
Our class was great! Our guides, Valentina and Jaya were wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning how to make fresh pasta as well as the spritz. Very fun thing to do.
Super fun cooking class with Kate and Clara! They made the ragu for us, but Kate taught us how to make the tagliatelle from scratch and Clara taught us how to make the spritz. Great energy and overall a very enjoyable and yummy experience! Highly recommend if you’re ever in Bologna!

Making tagliatelle from scratch and learning to mix the perfect spritz? That’s a delicious way to spend time in Bologna! 🍹 Cate and Clara will love your kind words. Thanks for bringing such good energy to the class!
Everyone has to walk down a flight of stairs so mobility should be considered when booking this event but if that’s not a problem it’s totally worth it!
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Thanks for the helpful heads-up about the stairs! We’re glad you felt the experience was worth it, and we appreciate you mentioning this so future guests can plan ahead. 😊
Enjoy talking with others who are sharing the experience. It’s so fun to hear where everyone is from and the experiences they’ve had in their travels.
It was a ton of fun and got to meet a lot of nice people. Making pasta is way harder than I thought. So I was lucky to have Kate and Clara there to help.
The sociableness of the class was a true highlight! We had a great group of attendees and were able to swap travel tips and suggestions throughout the class. The instructors, Katarina and Felipe, were so friendly and helpful and the pasta we made was delicious!
Lovely class! Very fun experience and amazing instructors! We learned how to make ragu tagliatelle and spritz
Fabulous experience! The two young ladies leading the group were outstanding! They made the experience a lot of fun and it was interesting meeting other participants.
So much fun!
Very engaging experience that takes the mystery and anxiety out of pasta making! I will go home and make pasta and experiment with making pasta from now on.
Thank you!❤️
Wonderful experience in an intimate with knowledgeable instructors. The food was easy to make with directions and they even give you the recipe via email to take home. Great souvenir!
The highlight of our trip! Very fun and informative class. Claudia and Stephie were amazing hosts and really made the experience. We would 1000% recommend!😃
We had a great time. The hosts were very friendly and patient with the guests and the end result was a fantastic lunch made by our own hands.
100% enjoyed my experience! I had never made pasta from scratch before and the teachers made it so easy. Very fun experience.
This class was the high point of our trip. Kate and Valentina were informative and fun. There was a good mix of cooking and getting to know each other. My pasta was a mess. I got “special” attention from Valentina, who was happy to help. My boyfriend’s pasta was perfect. Even though my pasta looked horrible, it tasted so good! The food, attention and camaraderie were amazing! I would highly recommend this cooking class.
We had so much fun. Kate and Claudia did such a wonderful job teaching us how to make pasta & aperol spritz. If we ever go back to Bologna, we will definitely do it again.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
A return visit for another pasta class is a pretty wonderful compliment! Cate and Claudia will be delighted to hear that you enjoyed learning to make fresh pasta and mixing up Aperol Spritz with them. We’ll be happy to welcome you back to the pasta table whenever Bologna brings you our way again. 😉
Such a great morning learning to make pasta with our wonderful hosts Kate and Claudia. They did so much to ensure that all of us had great fun whilst learning something really useful! The wine flowed along with the many laughs. We all joined in with what was a really inclusive and positive vibe – soulful.
The venue was beautiful and historically in tune with our mission to make fresh Bolognese tagliatelli. A massive thumbs-up from me. If you can, try to book with Kate and Claudia, you'll love 'em. And to my five funny fellow Danish students, I miss you already! Rich.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Rich, your mention of the five funny Danish students made us smile. It sounds like your group quickly found its rhythm, with plenty of laughter, wine and everyone joining in. Cate and Claudia will be so pleased to know that the class felt welcoming while still giving you the chance to learn how to make traditional Bolognese tagliatelle. It sounds like a morning you won’t forget anytime soon!
A wonderful team of Luca and Kate made the experience fun and enjoyable. Luca was funny and engaging. I would highly recommend this activity.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Luca and Kate clearly decided that making pasta should be as entertaining as it is delicious! 😂
We’re so happy that their energy made the class such a fun experience and that you enjoyed Luca’s sense of humour along the way. If you’re already planning to make fresh pasta at home, we’d say the lesson definitely did its job!
Thanks for cooking, laughing and eating with us. We hope your homemade pasta experiments go brilliantly! 🍷
It's engaging and informative! The food was AMAZING. My partner says it was the best meal he ate during our 2 week Italy stay.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
The best meal of a two-week Italy trip? That’s quite a compliment for our pasta class! 🍝 We’re thrilled the cooking experience was both engaging and informative, and even happier that the final result earned such high marks at the table.
There’s something particularly satisfying about sitting down to eat pasta you’ve just made yourself. We hope the recipes inspire a little Bologna-style cooking back home too!
Luca and Martina were amazing. From when we were greeted at the beginning to all the way when they hugged and kissed us goodbye, they were friendly, informative and funny. I’m not a cook, and even though I made it, the food was amazing (and the drinks). Felt welcomed just like you would if you were at nonna house for dinner. Highly recommend.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Luca and Martina seem to have gone all-in on the Italian welcome! ❤️ We’re glad their warmth, stories and sense of humour made you feel at home, and the Nonna’s-house comparison is one they’ll be very happy to hear.
And congratulations on making the pasta even if you don’t consider yourself a cook. That’s a pretty convincing success story!
The cooking class was very informative and fun. Kate and Martina met us at the entrance and were great in leading us through the class with detailed instructions. In the end, we received the recipes for everything we made. It was clear that they were very experienced and were able to support everyone with different levels of cooking experience, and also they made effort to get to know each of us.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Cate and Martina clearly know how to make a cooking class work for everyone, whether you’re already comfortable in the kitchen or still negotiating with your rolling pin! 🍝
We’re especially pleased you enjoyed their detailed guidance and personal approach. And having the recipes to take home means the Bologna experience doesn’t have to end when the class does!
Valentina and Gabriele were fantastic. Our family had an amazing time. Highly recommended, 5+ stars, food was delicious!
Response from Host, Oct 2026
A family pasta class with Valentina and Gabriel sounds like a recipe for a very happy table! 🍝 We’re pleased everyone had such a good time, and even happier that the food earned those 5+ stars. We’ll happily take the extra star!
Kate and Valencia were fantastic! I would highly recommend doing this activity. Learned a lot and was a great way to learn a bit more about the Italian food culture.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
A pasta class, a bit of Italian food culture, and Cate and Valentina keeping things lively sounds like a very good use of an afternoon! 🍝🇮🇹 We love that you came away having learned something new rather than simply having eaten your way through Bologna. Although, to be fair, there was probably plenty of eating involved too! 😄
Traveled from Florence to Bologna. Easy to navigate to the location. The ladies were wonderful and patient with the group. The food, drinks and activities worth the trip. Would highly recommend if you have never made pasta.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Travelling from Florence for pasta is already a pretty good excuse for a Bologna day trip! 🚆🍝 We’re delighted the journey felt worthwhile once you arrived. The patience of the instructors can make all the difference when everyone is learning at their own pace, and it’s lovely to hear that the food, drinks and activities made the trip worth making. 😊
What a great activity! Kate and Klara made the class fun and the flow between prep, cooking and eating was perfect. Overall a wonderful experience I would do it again the food we made was REALLY good!!
Fun time and learned the technique so we can make it at home. Kate and Phil were fun and excellent teachers.
Response from Host, Sep 2026
Fresh pasta skills to take home, plus Kate and Filippo keeping everyone entertained... sounds like a very successful cooking class! 😄
We’re thrilled that you enjoyed learning the techniques and felt confident enough to recreate them at home. That’s exactly what we hope guests take away from the class, along with a full stomach and a few good memories.
Thanks for cooking with us in Bologna. We hope your next homemade pasta night goes brilliantly! 🍝
Francesca and her partner were great!! Patient and helpful, they showed us howto make pasta and spritzes. And then the best part? We ate what we made. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn about Italian cuisine and have fun at the same time.
Loved this class! Amazing and so happy to have been able to make fresh pasta. The instructors were the best! I wish I remembered their names :(
Very good experience. Nice group, engaging hosts. Interesting to learn about the intricacies of making pasta. Drink free-flowing, food excellent quality. Would recommend.
