Immerse yourself in the world’s most iconic winter landscape on an exclusive private day tour of Zermatt. Guided by a local mountain expert, you’ll experience the snow-capped majesty of the Swiss Alps with total group privacy and a customized schedule tailored to your pace. Explore car-free Zermatt village, where historic wooden chalets and snow-draped streets frame towering peak views. Ascend into high alpine territory aboard famous panoramic mountain railways or cable cars to reach world-renowned viewing platforms directly facing the Matterhorn. Take in sweeping 360-degree panoramas of glaciers and frozen peaks, enjoy gentle winter walks through pristine snow, or relax at an elevated mountain terrace with hot drinks and traditional Swiss specialties. Includes dedicated 100% private guide service, custom-tailored mountain itinerary, local village walking tour, and flexible meeting logistics in Zermatt.

This is far more than a cable-car ride to a famous viewpoint. You will explore Matterhorn Glacier Paradise with a local guide who is also an experienced climber—and some of our guides have climbed the Matterhorn themselves. They will bring the surrounding peaks to life with first-hand mountaineering stories, insider knowledge, the history of Zermatt and secret local legends you will not find on the information boards. At 3,883 metres, you will enter a spectacular world of permanent snow, ice and glaciers. We will visit the Glacier Palace beneath the ice and take in the extraordinary panorama of the Alps. When conditions permit, we will also step outside into a designated safe area where you can experience the snow and ice beneath your feet—and children can enjoy playing in the snow and making snowballs, even during summer. This is a relaxed private experience. We take time to answer your questions and allow your family or group to enjoy each place at its own pace.

Join us for a full day of adventure and hike one of the most stunning trails in Zermatt! Our journey will start by hopping on the iconic Gornergrat cogwheel train to Gornergrat ridge. During this 45min trip, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful view offered by the 4000m peak around Zermatt including the majestic Matterhorn. Once at the summit, an easy short loop will bring you to breathtaking views of the valley, mountains and glacier surrounding the Gornergrat ridge. After enjoying the views and taking many memorable pictures, we will start our hike down to the Riffelsee. The Riffelsee is an amazing alpine lake that captures the imagination and on a good day offers the mirror reflection of the Matterhorn on its surface. We offer this tour only as a private group and with a flexible 4 to 6h time to allow us to tailor fit this experience to your wish. This area has a lot of different trails and possibilities, allowing you to adapt the tour to your fitness and desire.
