What are people saying about Zagreb

Small group tour of Zagreb was excellent
Are you sure this was an excellent small group tour led by our guide Petra. She was very knowledgeable about the Zagreb area and gave us a lot of interesting facts. She was also very conscientious and kind about having a stand in shady spots during a very hot day in Zagreb well she gave us information. We got to observe everything in the tour write up as advertised, including the world war II tunnels, a ride in the funicular, and the noon Cannon firing. We enjoyed it all immensely. Thank you Petra for being an excellent guide!

We had a great tour with...
We had a great tour with Dino. Dino is an incredible guide. He was very personable, informative and provided great insight into the history of Zagreb.
This was as much a history tour as it was a food tour which we great enjoyed. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Zagreb!

Gorgeous colors of water!
Sasha was an amazing guide! He knew the ins and outs of the lakes and made sure we saw what we could see in the time frame and not get lost! One of the other tour mates said she had 2 friends that came without a guide and was stuck in the park for a long time until they came across another tour and followed them out. Sasha was also super informative but just about the lakes but about Croatia in general. I enjoyed our talks during the car ride. But please add more information about the lakes itself that it can be challenging in some parts. I skipped one area with the group and started heading back to the entrance and it was brutal in pure sunlight when it was over 95F degrees. And save the trip to Rostroke till after the lakes since the 45 min stopped could have been used to save time at the lakes and avoid an hour of sunlight/heat.

Best Historical Tour I’ve Experienced
Elena was one of the most knowledgeable, balanced, and engaging guides that I’ve ever had. She spends a few minutes gauging your baseline knowledge of the region and the conflict, then immediately tailors the tour to what you know walking in. If you are unfamiliar with it, she does an incredible job distilling an incredibly complex situation into something understandable. If you know about the basics, she will happily go deeper in a way that is so personal and authentic because of her and her family history.
She’s a true historian and storyteller and you will walk away knowing so much more about the region and the people after talking with her. Really amazing and unforgettable experience that I don’t think you can replicate without talking to someone who really understands this part of the world.

Stunning place!
Plitvice Lakes is one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever visited. The crystal-clear turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls, and beautifully maintained walking trails create an unforgettable experience. Every turn offers a picture-perfect view. If you’re visiting Croatia, Plitvice Lakes is an absolute must-see.

Best Tour Guide in Slovenia — Ask for Verdana!
We just returned from an incredible day trip through Slovenia and couldn't be happier with the experience. Our guide Verdana was absolutely amazing — helpful, caring, and incredibly responsible. She kept everything running smoothly and on time, which made the entire trip stress-free and a whole lot of fun.
From start to finish, Verdana made sure we had an unforgettable experience. Her warmth and professionalism really stood out, and it's clear she genuinely cares about her guests.
I highly recommend this company, and if you get the chance to have Verdana as your guide — consider yourself lucky. Thank you, Verdana!

Amazing lakes
The lakes and waterfalls were incredible. The boardwalks were very well made and create a beautiful walk through the area. We visited in the middle of June and it wasn’t too busy. Our guide had fantastic knowledge of the area and Croatia in general, and was very friendly and helpful.
Rastoke is very small and I probably wouldn’t put it on my list to visit, but it broke up the bus journey back, so it was fine.

I did not quite know what...
I did not quite know what to expect with this tour as some reviews mentioned that they were picked up by a big bus and the tour group was huge. I guess it depends on the time of year? We ended up being 11 + our tour guide, Danielle. I was very happy with the size of our group and Danielle expertly led us through the various pathways through the lakes past some absolutely beautiful spots. Lots of great photos that of course don't do justice to seeing the beauty of this national park with your own eyes.
Weather also cooperated that way staying overcast for most of the day so while it was warm it wasn't uncomfortable. Lunch was quite late as we wrapped up walking the lakes at 3pm, but the restaurant was nearby and I got to enjoy some local trout that was quite tasty.
This tour was definitely a great way to go from Zagreb to Split without just taking a regular boring bus. The day was long but absolutely worth it!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
The central region of Croatia is an underrated part of the world where adventure and beauty await. A day trip from Zagreb allows you to explore more of the country many people don't see. From medieval towns like Samobor to the romantic Varazdin, there is no shortage of quaint baroque destinations to explore. For nature enthusiasts, Plitvice Lakes National Park boasts cascading waterfalls and stunning landscapes. And for those looking for a new country to cross off their travel bucket list, a dip into neighboring Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana, is just a short ride away.
