- If you can, bring sportswear and comfortable closed/hiking shoes... lots of walking!
- Your guide will be available to assist you throughout the entire trip and guide you through the park.
- Approx. 8.5km (5.3mil) walk is the length of the walking tour in the park (highseason). You will see all the highlights, and don’t worry there are no big inclines so it’s an enjoyable walk.
- Some of the park may be restricted and is weather dependent.
- This tour will still operate in all weather conditions.
- Please note that from November 1st through March 31st, only Lower Lakes can be visited, and depending on weather conditions, the train and electric boats do not operate.
- Pick-up details you will receive day before departure
- Children under 5 yo can ONLY go with the small group option

It is a long trail. Be ready to walk 8-9k. Take a lunch if you don't want fastfood. Be ready to have long lines to the ladies bathroom where the boats let you off.
It is beautiful and worth the trip.

On vacation from America and had such an amazing experience! Damien was our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and friendly. A lot of walking but that was to be expected, wear comfy shoes and layers so you can take them off to cool down.

This was a great tour of the lakes! Eva the tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered everyone’s questions. We saw both the upper and lower lakes which other tours sometimes miss. Make sure you bring comfy shoes and clothes!

A serene place with stunning scenery!
We thoroughly enjoyed our day. It’s too bad the water levels were low and we didn’t get to experience the full effect of the waterfalls but there’s no control over that.

The walk/trails are very well maintained. The views of waterfalls and lakes incredible. Although the waterfalls were smaller as end on September, the fall colors were amazing . It was also fun to take the boat.

A very pleasant day. Plenty of walking but at a slow and steady pace following the trails. Our guide Marco was great and would walk at a pace that suited everyone and was very knowledgable. The trip was well worth the effort to see the lakes and waterrfalls. Wear suitable footwear for walking.

Our full-day small group tour to Plitvice Lakes from Zagreb with Pathfinder Tours was one of the highlights of our entire trip! There were only eight of us in the group, which made the experience feel personal and relaxed. The hotel pickup and drop-off were also incredibly convenient.
Our guide, Saša, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and area, but he also had a great sense of humor, which made the day even more enjoyable. He knew how to navigate around the crowds and took us to both the Upper and Lower Lakes, making sure we got to see the best of the park without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Saša We learned so much and had a wonderful time doing it.
If you're visiting Zagreb and considering a Plitvice Lakes tour, I would definitely recommend Pathfinder Tours. This was truly a highlight of our trip!

Amazing tour, small group and worth the extra cost. Our guide, Marin, was honestly incredible! By the time we got to Plitvice NP, he had already connected with each participant. He was knowledgeable and made the long day so much fun!

The bus was bad and I pay 90 I was suspect something more comfortable even charge phone not exist in the bus the guide was talk too much than he should but the place was incredible.

We would just like to clarify a few points regarding the tour. The €90 price includes the €40 national park entrance ticket, transportation, a licensed English-speaking guide, a visit to Rastoke, and guided sightseeing inside the national park.
Regarding phone charging, our vehicles are equipped with chargers, although availability can depend on the specific seat and vehicle. In any case, our guide also has access to charging, so guests are always welcome to hand their phone to the guide for charging at any point during the tour.
We would also like to mention that this was a **shared group tour**, rather than a private tour. As stated in the tour description, the guide provides commentary throughout the journey and discusses various topics, including the history and culture of the region, geopolitics, economics, and the national park itself... We understand that the amount of information provided is a matter of personal preference, and we’re sorry if you felt there was more commentary than you would have preferred.

It is at least a 10km walk. It would need to be sprinted to do it in the time allowed!! I guess our party took a good one and a half hours longer .

We booked the small group tour. Our tour guide Sasha was terrific. He spoke perfect English and was full of information and was passionate about his country. Nice views and great guide but this is alot of walking. It was almost 7 miles and he said it could have been way more walking. It was not
So crowded today so we were able to use the tram but no one with handicap can do this tour.

The trip was very good and the guide was quite prepared. I just don't recommend this trip to whoever get tired hiking have a scarse sense or orientation.
Exquisite scenery but advanced notice level of difficulty with terrane steep and uneven walkways
Guide Damien very good helpful could be more inclusive with our group as several seemed to demand his attention
The tour company pathfinders and my guide sasa was funny and passionate beautiful place just a shame they let so many people into the park very slow buses in park too and not enough facilities for the summer crowds many queues
Lots of walking but the views were worth it. It was a very intensive day and our guide made it a very enjoyable day

A true highlight of any trip to Croatia. The company has great communication and our tour guide, Lucas was brilliant. The day was a relaxed pace which gave us a change to embrace the scenery and to connect with nature and to enjoy the surroundings. Bring water!

Sasha was an amazing guide! He knew the ins and outs of the lakes and made sure we saw what we could see in the time frame and not get lost! One of the other tour mates said she had 2 friends that came without a guide and was stuck in the park for a long time until they came across another tour and followed them out. Sasha was also super informative but just about the lakes but about Croatia in general. I enjoyed our talks during the car ride. But please add more information about the lakes itself that it can be challenging in some parts. I skipped one area with the group and started heading back to the entrance and it was brutal in pure sunlight when it was over 95F degrees. And save the trip to Rostroke till after the lakes since the 45 min stopped could have been used to save time at the lakes and avoid an hour of sunlight/heat.

We did a day-trip small tour with max of 8 people. I'm glad we did vs a large group tour as we had more time at each stop point to take pictures and enjoy the sights. The park is quite big so it still requires some moderate exercise to complete it. Our host and driver Sasa was great and kept everything moving while still allowing us time to take in the sights. We also enjoyed his candid commentary through out.
