Top Trapani On the Water

This activity should be chosen to experience the thrill of catching the king of the seas and one of the strongest fish in the world, the bluefin tuna. At the same time, enjoy a day on a boat, in one of the most infamous places in Sicily, immersed in the quiet and tranquility, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and crystal clear water.

Trapani’s coast—home to must-see sights such as Zingaro Reserve and the seaside village of San Vito Lo Capo—is best explored by boat. But larger vessels aren’t permitted to stop on beaches, meaning you mostly admire the coastal landscapes without stopping. Designed for a more immersive experience, this full-day tour by rubber dinghy gives you greater flexibility, letting you stop to swim or snorkel in all the main coves.

Large boat trips can feel crowded and don't work well for a relaxed day on the water. On this small-group cruise, sail from Trapani to the Egadi Islands, visiting Favignana and Levanzo in a single day. Swim near secluded coves, snorkel among the vibrant marine life, and hop off in Favignana village for some free time to explore. Refuel with seasonal fruit and white wine from on board.

The crystal-clear seas off western Sicily are home to the idyllic Aegadian islands of Favignana and Levanzo, but their isolated location makes them hard to reach. On this tour, cruise through the coastal waters in a small boat and drop the anchor at locations not accessible to larger boats. Learn of historic battles between the Romans and Carthaginians with on-board commentary from your guide, with free time to snorkel at your leisure.

Swap land-based sightseeing for a full day at sea on an inflatable boat tour of the Egadi Islands. Complete with freshly-prepared lunch, alcoholic drinks, and snorkeling equipment, this experience is ideal for couples and families seeking adventure. Discover Favignana and Levanzo, stop to swim in crystal-clear waters, soak up stunning coastal views, and relax on deck with music and a glass of bubbly while your skipper shares insights into the local area.
