Top Slovenia Unique Experiences

Join a truffle hunter and a trained dog to search for black and white truffles in an Istria forest on a small-group tour that also includes truffle tastings, a cooking demonstration, and glasses of Istrian wine. It’s a glimpse of a world that’s often secretive—most truffle hunters search alone—and the chance to try what might be the freshest truffles of your life.

Take a foamy dive into Slovenia's thriving craft beer scene—and enjoy a more interactive and immersive way to enjoy beer—during this tutored tasting experience. Led by your beer-expert guide, you’ll sip your way through a series of six beers from Slovenia, paired with light snacks. Interactive games and challenges make this a great way to meet fellow beer lovers, whether you’re a solo traveler or arriving with a group.

Gin lovers—this one’s for you. Instead of going to a bar, take your Slovenian gin knowledge to the next level by visiting one of Ljubljana’s only gin and whisky distilleries. Enjoy commentary about the distillery’s history and how its signature spirits were developed and perfected; then, best of all—taste Broken Bones Gin and three delicious cocktails.

Take a break from the hustle of Ljubljana with a half-day trip to the gorgeous emerald green waters of Lake Bled. You’ll enjoy convenient pick-up from your Ljubljana hotel and be delivered to the shores of Lake Bled by your English-speaking driver where you can tour the dramatic cliffside Bled Castle, take a ride in a traditional 'pletna' handmade boat out to Bled Island, or just laze away the day on the shore of this picture-perfect lake. Food and attractions are all optional and not included in the price of the tour.

Visit two of Slovenia’s most beautiful towns on this full-day tour from Ljubljana. First, journey through the Alps to Bled, where you can cruise around Lake Bled and visit the historic Bled Castle. Then, continue to the Adriatic coast to explore picturesque seafront towns of Piran and Portoroz, known for their gorgeous beaches and salt pans.

This is the ideal choice for first-time visitors to Ljubljana. Rather than going on an organized group tour that includes sights that don’t interest you, opt for something more personalized instead. This private tour doesn’t have a set itinerary—instead you can either customize the tour, or let your local guide plan the day for you. See the city through a local’s eyes, and pick up lots of top travel tips along the way.
