Visit local market. Step into a real local Singapore Chinese home and experience the warmth of traditional family cooking culture. Unlike a commercial cooking studio, this small-group experience focuses on authentic human connection, homemade food traditions, and hands-on participation. You’ll explore two traditional Chinese fermentation crafts — homemade fermented rice drink and handmade bao making — while learning stories about family life, festive foods, and Chinese culinary traditions in Singapore. After the cooking session, enjoy the Chinese traditional fermented rice drink and handmade bao you prepared, and learn how to use chopsticks in a relaxed local home setting. From kneading dough and shaping bao to sharing tea and conversation around the table, this experience offers a cozy and meaningful way to connect with local culture through food.
