Gerry introduced us to dishes and flavors we never would have thought to try on our own, while also explaining the history and culture behind what we were seeing and eating. What I loved most was that this wasn’t just a food tour—it was a real introduction to Singapore through the eyes of someone who knows and loves the city. By the end of the tour, we felt like we understood so much more about the different cultures that make Singapore such a special place. It also gave us a great foundation for the rest of our trip because we knew what foods to look for and had a much better appreciation for the neighborhoods we visited afterward. Colin was a great tour guide, chef and teacher. We enjoyed visiting the wet market seeing the vendors: vegetables, meat and fish, especially the stingray. We also enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. Colin continues to impress and teach us about cooking some wonderful dishes. We learn so much and would recommend this tour.

This was a very complete tour with lots of interesting information about Singapore and the food and history. It was very enjoyable and opened the door to experience different food from the groups that make up the population. Richard our guide was very patient and answered all of our questions and explained everything to us. I would highly recommend this tour.
