The event was very fun and I learned interesting facts about El Yunque National Forest. Jamilex Cuevas was very knowledgeable about the growth of Rainforest plants and trees. Amauri Guzman kept the experience alive with his humor and quick wit. Both guides made sure that we had a good time in a safe manner. The Kayaking tour was very fun, it is something that I would eagerly try again in the future. All of the guides made sure we rowed correctly and safely. Miguel did a great job making sure we knew basic kayaking fundamentals. Brian taught us about constellations and what sea creatures make the bay glow. Anelise helped me the most by making sure I rowed correctly and followed the rest of the group on pace.

The hike

First it started off bad the ture blew out on the highway and I thought we was stranded. The gyude took control of the situation. He guided us to safety, he immediately got us another van,he got us to our location, he still managed us the entire tour, which he did a great job at he was full of energy and hands on to make sure we were safe.he got us back to the pick up spot no issues. I loved the entire tour and I am going to recommend the tour and him to family and friends

Highly recommend!

It was such a great time! From the time we were picked up to the being dropped off, we had a wonderful experience! Airam was very attentive and great at teaching the culture of Puerto Rico along with the rain forest plants. He made us feel comfortable in knowing what we were getting into and how to be safe. There was nothing about this experience that felt unsafe. He knows the caves and river so well and it’s obvious he loves to share this info and experience with his guests. It wasn’t crowded for us at all. Just the locals enjoying the river. Don’t miss it! Thank you Airam!

Family excursion to El Yunque

This was the best tour we did while in Puerto Rico. Our tour guide, Brian, picked us up from our AirBnb in San Juan drove us to a less-traveled to part of El Yunque. The hike was moderately challenging, but my 87 year old father was able to do it. Brian was amazing! His knowledge of the rainforest ecosystem was impressive and his thoughtfulness toward my Dad throughout the day was endearing. Our hike took us to a waterfall pool of the Fajardo river, where a few of us stayed while others continued the journey up to the natural waterslide. This was an experience we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. Truly unique in its beauty and experiences. I can’t recommend this tour enough, and you MUST request Brian as your guide!

Best tour ever

Yo this is the best tour ever and the most educated and safest . You will see some other groups in the forest with some shady looking guides but man this one was great . They keep you safe and you get to experience a lot . They are a great duo and the ride back after the beach was the best you get lots of drinks and food at the beach from the shops it’s a vibe . You will meet lots of ppl and become educated of the island .

It was a great...

It was a great experience, from beginning to end! Our tour guide Angel was great! From picking us up, explaining the history of PR while on our way to El Yunque, hiking/walking through the rainforest, sliding down and jumping from the “cascadas” and keeping us safe! Well worth it! From picking us up at our hotel, to the knowledge that Brandon our tour guide had, everything was great. We shopped at a local boutique and had wonderful Mofongo at Raíces. The best part honestly was Brandon..he was funny, kind and made the day perfect!

Our tour of El Yunque Rainforest with Ingrid was truly one of the best tours I’ve ever taken! El Yunque itself was absolutely beautiful and a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but Ingrid made the entire day unforgettable. Her knowledge of Puerto Rico’s local history, culture, and native plants was exceptional. She shared fascinating information about the traditional uses of plants in medicine, building, and everyday life, making the experience both fun and educational from start to finish. Even the drive to and from the rainforest was a highlight thanks to her engaging stories and passion for sharing her knowledge. The local candies she brought for the ride were such a thoughtful touch, and the stop at a roadside food stand introduced us to some of the best food I’ve ever had—not just in Puerto Rico, but anywhere! Ingrid’s love for her work and her culture shines through in everything she does. If you have the opportunity to tour with her, don’t hesitate. Highly recommended!

The entire experience including transportation was so seamless, they picked us up in a private car ( no big van full of people) and took us the the location, the staff there was so helpful and super patient it was definitely a wonderful experience! I would recommend anyone looking to zip line in Puerto Rico to go with this company they are super professional & it was a beautiful setting in the rain forest
