The lakes are gorgeous...
The lakes are gorgeous and provided lots of amazing photo opportunities! It's well worth the price to see this area of the world.
Our guide, Yusuf, was very friendly and charming. He spoke excellent English and answered all of my questions about the locations and Tajikistan in general. He helped us select delicious foods from the market for a nice picnic and was very accommodating in general.
A large part of the drive in Tajikistan is on unpaved roads which could be quite bumpy so be warned if that's too much for you. But our driver was very competent and I felt completely safe with him.

Tajikistan Seven Lakes; great tour with the best tour guide!
If you visit the Seven Lakes, be prepared to spend long hours on unpaved roads, but you will be rewarded with astonishing views of the scenery in an unreal harsh environment where people manage to live their lives under hard conditions. It's a welcome change after visiting multiple cities to be in rural territory and experience Tajik-hospitality. Please make sure Dilo is your guide, this extraordinary lovely, lively, fun, well English speaking tour guide is the best I ever had! She really added value to my tour with her strong historical and local knowledge and her positive energy. In my opinion a tour guide could make or break a tour, and Dilo definitely made it a wordefull experience! Job Well Done Dilo and Viator!!

Wonderful experience in one day
I was incredibly lucky to be able to join this tour at the last minute today. I had booked the same tour with another company, but it was cancelled at the last minute. I really wanted to go, so I booked this tour company just 12 hours before departure, and they were able to accommodate me. I can't thank them enough. They even contacted me that evening to explain the tour details. Furthermore, Murat, the driver and English-speaking guide, confirmed the hotel pickup twice that night. Despite being only in his early twenties, his English skills were impeccable, and provided excellent guiding the next day. The price was also cheaper than the previous tour company, and I comfortably completed a satisfying 13-hour journey. Even now, the beautiful lake scenery is still vivid in my mind.
If I visit Uzbekistan, definately I will ask tours of this tour company

Very peaceful and historical city
The tour is one of the best tours we experienced. The driver was super patient and stopped at the most picturesque spot for us to take in the mountainous landscape. He also found us one of most popular restaurant among locals for lunch with again a fabulous Mountain View.
Our guide is even more amazing. She and her students (who volunteered to join her to learn and English and culture) are very nice and inspiring young women, who explained with in-depth historical background and knowledge in every site we visited. We truly appreciate their warmth and kindness.
Shahrisabz is smaller than Samarkand, but it offers very quaint and authentic flavors of the history as well. Highly recommended!
