Day Trips from Saint-Emilion to Pomerol

Live a private experience in the heart of the vineyards of Saint-Émilion & Pomerol, aboard a restored Citroën 2CV convertible. Check-out from Bordeaux, this exclusive excursion invites you to discover the French art of living in a privileged setting. Admire the vineyards of Saint-Émilion and Pomerol and pass the most prestigious Châteaux, which have made the world famous on the right bank of the Bordeaux vineyards. You will visit three carefully selected wineries: a family-run Château and two Classified Grand Crus, during private tours that encourage exchange and discovery. Your passionate Guide will share with you the history of the vineyard, its traditions and the secrets of its wines and you will enjoy a tailor-made accompaniment, aboard the legendary Citroën 2CV, for an authentic day.

Drive the Bordeaux Right Bank yourself, with a GPS audio guide that plays automatically as you go. Your booking unlocks the whole region in the free Wine Trails app: pick your date and starting point, Saint-Émilion, Libourne or Bordeaux, and the app builds your personal route with turn-by-turn narration. Narrated stories cover the people and the ground: you'll hear why the Jurisdiction became the first vineyard landscape UNESCO ever listed, how the Jurade got its charter from King John in 1199, what blue clay does for Pétrus, and how a garagiste with a 0.6-hectare plot outscored it in 1995. No group, no schedule, no guide; pause for a long lunch in the village, replay anything, and the audio keeps working when the signal drops, because everything downloads offline. You'll need a car and a designated driver; château visits are booked and paid directly with the estates. Also works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto!
