What are people saying about Quito

A little taste of nature.
Isra/Israel was a perfect guide. He suggested various activities and you got to choose what you wanted. We had a very relaxed day which suited our needs and we got to see some wonderful bird life. Feeding the humming birds was magical. It was a delight to watch them interact with us.
Isra really wanted the best for us, to see all the possible birds we could.
He was lovely to chat with, very laid back but very knowledgable. 10/10
Thank-you Israel for making our day so special.

Loved this tour!!!
This tour was great!!! Our guide (Veronica) was so passionate, bubbly and was proud of her country and all that it has to offer. We partially climbed the Cotopaxi active volcano in the middle of a snow shower and loved the challenge! When we arrived at the hiker’s refuge and realized that we were approximately 16,000 feet above sea level we had such a sense of accomplishment!
After the climb back down to the bus we were able see the peak of Cotopaxi peeking out from behind the clouds and the scene felt almost magical.
We would definitely recommend this tour to others!!

Hugo was a wonderful...
Hugo was a wonderful guide! He was very prompt and accommodative of our schedule since we booked our day trip to Mindo the day we were leaving Quito. He had a lot of knowledge to share and offered suggestions on activities and timings based on the weather.

Incredible way to experience Baños in one day
I was let down fairly last minute by another tour company and came across this one. Little did I know I had already had this company twice during my visit to Ecuador for Cotopaxi and Quilotoa Lagoon (both of which were excellent). I was lucky enough to have Jorge as my guide again for Baños - he is an amazing guide who really goes above and beyond to make your experience fantastic - so kind, knowledgable and enthusiastic. Our driver was also wonderful. Great communication prior to the trip. We stopped at the swing at the end of the world, cable car, waterfall, and an activity centre where you can choose to do extra activities such as zip lining, bridge walking, and rope swing. Food options and quality were excellent. It is a long day but I would highly recommend this trip and this company

Challenging and fun!
Our guide,Paulina was great. We first did a horseback ride with a beautiful backdrop- the mountains! The ride was super fun and extremely easy and calm.
The second part of the experience was more challenging as we headed toward Ecuador’s second highest volcano, stopping for a few pics along the way!
Paulina is Kichwa and would tell us about her experience living within the Kichwa community— very informative!
The hike to base camp was challenging. I’m 65, and exercise a couple of times a week. This wa difficult for me. Paulina encouraged me to continue an helped to get my breathing under control. My husband, on the other hand, had breathing difficulties at the parking lot level and decided to not hike… I was glad we do this. I’m glad I reached base camp. But make no mistake, it’s a challenge! Will you take it?

Fun day in Quito
We had a great day touring Old Town Quito with Jorge! He was very knowledgeable and answered even our quirkiest questions. As a group of 4 friends who travel together often we appreciated his patience and sense of humor! A great guide and tour! We had fun!

100% must do!
Jorge and Jonathan were amazing on this tour. I am so grateful I was able to get in booking this so last minute (within about 12 hours of the start time of the tour). Communication was great and they picked me up when they said they would pick me up. You can tell Jorge loves his job and wanted to ensure we all had a great time....and we did. The hike up was very challenging. I feel like I am a pretty active person and this was even challenging for me. The constant encouragement from Jorge made the difference! He was also very mindful of checking in with us regularly to make sure we were feeling ok (altitude adjustment, etc). Jonathan navigating the streets in Quito plus the drive up to the parking lot of the start of the hike was impressive. He's truly a skilled driver! I would highly recommend trying this tour. We had a great time! Restaurant for lunch was great too. Great view and food for a very low price. It's an experience and views I will never forget! It was a nice way to end the day!

Beautiful Lagoon, Excellent Tour
Wonderful tour and our guide Fernando was fantastic. Loved the little stops on the way to Quilatoa Lagoon, which included a quick stop for breakfast. We hiked only part of the way down and then walked along the outer ridge which provided a great opportunity for more viewpoints and photos.

Loved middle of the earth
Our guide Wilson was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about Ecuador and the spots we visited.
He went the extra mile to show us additional sites. Very comfortable car and good driver

Great tour!
The tour was absolutely fantastic! Michael, our guide, was simply amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. He made the tour truly memorable. I can’t recommend this tour and Michael highly enough. If you’re considering booking, definitely go for it!

My husband and I flew...
My husband and I flew into Quito for a one day layover on our way home after a Galapagos tour and decided to make the most out of the day with a day tour. I booked it a mere 13 hours prior and we were paired with Galindo as our guide. He was a very experienced tour guide, knowledgeable, and also took great pictures of us along the way. Galindo’s English was excellent, but it was still nice to be able to practice my very rusty Spanish with him without feeling embarrassed since I never really had a chance to speak much in Galapagos. Galindo catered our tour to our preferences and took us to a really cute restaurant for lunch that had good food and our table had a nice view of Independence Square. We really felt like we got a good taste of Quito by the end of the day. We were tired but it was worth it!

Great views!
Very good tour and well worth the price. We started with the 1:00 pm bus, and probably would have preferred an earlier start. We only got off at the Mercado, the Basilica, and Panecillo. We spent much more time at the Basilica than we had expected. It was awesome! Make sure you go around to the front and take the tour up the towers. Spectacular views! On the ride up to Panecillo sit on the left side of the bus and you'll get great views.
